Faced with Silas Dunn's attitude, Timothy York remained completely unfazed. "Why not continue?" he asked calmly.
Timothy's tone seemed to infuriate Silas even more, making him drop the sarcasm. "Why do you think?" he snapped. "This time, with the Ryan Norris situation, Mason Crawford set a huge trap for you. But not only did you avoid it, you managed to turn the tables on him. You've had the upper hand in both incidents. If you pull something a third time, do you think your grandfather—the man who values family reputation and propriety above all else—won't be furious? Who do you think will have to face that wrath?"
"Since I've made this decision, I'm not afraid of facing anyone's wrath," Timothy York said.
Silas probably rolled his eyes on the other end of the line. "Fine, then. My mistake for meddling and worrying for nothing. I guess all my concern for you is just a waste of time!"
With that, Silas Dunn hung up.
But just a few seconds later, the phone rang again.
