Dominant asked Hit to explain the rules for the game.
Annoyed Ridhi asked, "What if I don't want to be a part of this and besides you are not even considering that we might have planned for something."
"It's not a concern as long as you are here so, don't ruin the fun out of it and listen quietly."
Hit, who was standing behind Dominant now takes the stage and present his greetings.
"Hello almighties, it's my pleasure standing in front of you. But for now, we'll focus on the game. First with the device."
Hit started explaining the device setup and hooked the deities.
"There are two spaces, one large where Lord Rudra is already present and the kid deity will accompany him. The other space is relatively small where lady Vasudha has to be. Once you both take your positions the game will begin."
Ridhi is paying no heed to what he is been saying but Vasudha listens carefully. She is analyzing the situation and also thinking if the things Dominant said was correct or bluff.
Hit continued, "Starting with Lord Rudra who has to strike the kid deity. The force behind his strike will be recorded by the sensors installed."
"I will not hit her."
"You do not have a say in this, dear destroyer" Dominant stops Rudra's appeal by his words.
Hit once again continued, "The impact force at Ridhi's body will be calculated by the device. There is a device attached to lady Vasudha's chamber and it compresses the atmosphere. The compression is gradual and complete compression takes place in one minute. This condition allows humans to endure higher level of pressure therefore it is suited for our game."
"What are the rules then, surely you have planned something." Vasudha asked.
"Of course, here are the rules:
Rule 1: The minimum force Lord Rudra is allowed to apply behind his strike should be enough to knock a mortal out.
Rule 2: If rule 1 is followed then, Lady Vasudha will have to endure half times of the equivalent gradual pressure change."
Rudra cannot hold any longer, "Why me, then? It's not like I am the one casting decisions."
"That's precisely why. You are tasked to destroy indiscrimately. So, let's see how you do in this scenario." Dominant replied with utter arrogance.
"Do not feel bad for them we have also added something to reduce your guilt." Added Hit.
"Let's continue with the rules.
Rule 3: If rule 1 is not followed, Lady Vasudha will be receiving one and a half times the equivalent damage Lord Rudra is allowed to inflict.
Getting back to Lord Rudra, the damage he will be receiving will be equal to that of what kid deity. His chamber has an additional setup of an air blaster which fires compressed air strikes. That will do the damage to him."
"Hurry it up, how many stupid rules are there." Ridhi is just eager to finish this all up.
"Just one last,
Rule 4: The loser will have to stay here and the rest of you can go and the loser will be the first one to be knocked out."
"None of us are leaving without each other."
"It can go that way but only if Kiri-shama comes to save all of you."
"Let me do the honor of setting up the device, master." Telepath spoke for the first time after the arrival of the deities.
"Looks like you too want to be a part of their sufferings. Okay, go on then." Dominant allowed her to set up the device.
Telepath walked towards the device and do the settings for the device and sensors. She whispered to Rudra, "Don't try to fake your strength it's already recorded."
She adjusted the settings for Rudra's chamber and with a click of a button she opened the gate for Ridhi to get in.
Annoyed Ridhi entered the chamber; Rudra is furious but none of them could do anything.
Telepath opened the gate for Vasudha's chamber and she entered. She is the calmest one among all of them.
"Now everything is set, let's start the game." Dominant exclaimed.
The anger overwhelmed Rudra. He was so furious that his decisions were foggy, he could not decide what to do. The action which would benefit all of them was very far from his reach. He gazed at Vasudha.
Vasudha sighed, "Don't think too much, just do what you do best."
Do what I do best? That would be destruction. Does she plan to leave Ridhi behind? How could she, she is far closer to her than me. Does she have a plan?
Dominant broke his chain of thoughts, "That's right Rudra, just destroy the kid deity and you both can go then."
Rudra snapped, "Don't mock me, I'll do no such thing. We'll wait for Kiri-shama."
"The structure you are in is made of glass and that will collapse with a button and the pieces of glasses will pierce your body like a needle through a sheet of paper. So, don't test me patience."
Ridhi looked at Rudra, "Why are you so afraid, newbie? Just throw at me what you got."
"Forgive me. I promise you I never wanted this."
With a heavy heart, Rudra closes his eyes, tighten his fist and then then throw at Ridhi.
The punch connected to her face and shook her whole body.
Rudra's punch was able to knock a few bones of her jaw.
Her mouth felt warm, filled with blood.
She threw the blood on the floor.
"Open your eyes. I can't be done in just a single blow."
Dominant remarked, "Splendid! That was not bad for a good start. The force behind the punch exceeded the minimum criteria with sufficient gap. Who could think that the Destroyer will be so cold hearted towards his own kind too."
"Mark my words, you'll pay for what you are doing." Rudra yelled angrily.
"Since kid deity is done, it's time for the creator to witness the force of a destroyer. It'll be interesting to see how she handles this."
