War begins
Dominant declaring a war against the deities, the thought of this made Rudra furious.
He snaps, "What revenge are you talking about? The revenge for shattering your dreams or the revenge for destroying your plans."
Kiri-shama still maintaining his composure, "Let's not be hasty, Rudra. It's time they need to learn the difference."
"But he used people for his wicked plans. I will kill all of them."
"It's not their time besides your nature is to destroy not to take revenge. They will pay and I promise you that."
Ridhi insists on having a part in the fight. But Vasudha stepped back on killing someone.
Since Vasudha backed down, I want atleast two of them, said Ridhi.
Rudra asked for Immortal and Permeable as he wanted to show them what a true deity can do. And Hit along with Telepath were paired to Ridhi.
"So, you are playing handicaps then. Well, we will oblige you. Everyone, get to your battles." With the order of Dominant, all four of them walked towards their dancing partner.
Meanwhile Vasudha just took a seat to watch.
The fight starts Immortal and Permeable rounded Rudra and covered both his rear and front.
Permeable rained Rudra with shower of fast punches from front.
Rudra blocked a few, ducked a few and took a few punches.
While Rudra was dealing with Permeable's attack, Immortal came flying with double foot pushing kick.
Rudra was not very far from the site of depression and the flying kick pushed him in the debris of the fallen structure.
On the other battlefield, Telepath and Hit against Ridhi. Both Telepath and Hit reached for their extensions.
Hit reached for the chain hanging to his back attached to a metallic stick.
Telepath threw a few short knives at Ridhi from a far. Meanwhile Hit took the chance to close the gap.
The knives were dealt with no effort. At the same time, Hit landed a heavy strike with his metallic stick.
Ridhi dodged the strike but the stick bounced off the ground to strike her from behind. The knives were still coming. Ridhi caught a knife and used its momentum to dodge the stick.
"You surprised me. Well, I'll be using this since she threw these at me so generously." Ridhi said while picking a knife from the ground.
Here in the debris, Rudra hit the ground.
Rolled on shattered glass and picked himself up. The opponents jumped right in the rubble and surrounded him from both sides.
Rudra rugged himself and removed pieces of glass from his body.
"It seems these things still can wound me. Let's see what it can do to you." Rudra grabbed a solid rod from the rubble.
Holding his footing, he swung the rod in a full circle.
The rod passed through Permeable but Immortal blocked it with both his hands.
Permeable found an opening, he took a shot from a brick of a broken pillar.
Rudra unhanded the rod immediately.
Grabbed the ground for an upper kick but the kick passed through Permeable.
This gave Immortal time to heal his broken hand.
With the same rod, Immortal struck at Rudra's hand which had grabbed the ground a moment ago.
Clashed. Rudra took the full blow.
He spun his hands, spiral his body and turned the upgoing kick towards Immortal.
Immortal already engaged in his attack was not able to counter or dodge the kick and slammed against the ground.
Rudra picked him up and tossed towards his mate.
Permeable holding a part of glass as dagger, ran and jumped over Immortal to stab Rudra.
In defense, Rudra took his punching stance and threw a punch to his face.
Permeable dematerialized his body.
He pushed himself up the ground.
The dagger from his hand, started falling down while he slipped through the reality.
Then rematerialized himself to grab the dagger in midair.
Rudra already saw that coming.
He baited him, moved his left foot behind and grabbed the earth from front.
Unknowing Permeable, let his guard down.
He took his dagger in midair to pierce the muscles around the femur to inflict a deeper wound.
When he saw the right foot in front, he stabbed the muscles below the knee and turned upward.
But it was too late.
Rudra had already unleashed the momentum he built.
Permeable didn't had the chance to slip through it.
The blow was quite devastating and Permeable passed out from the impact.
"Looks like you are the only one left. Are you scared?"
Immortal just laughed.
The other fight.
Ridhi managed to let both of them in a single line of sight.
To avoid long range fighter, she wanted to close the gap.
Telepath threw a few knives.
Ridhi ducked the flying blades and then engaged with her in close combat.
They exchanged slashes.
Metal clanked.
Sparks emerged and lost before the next clank.
Again, and again.
Ridhi was having an upper hand then Hit engaged.
He started with a fast and ranged strike to land between her waist and ribs.
No time to dodge, Ridhi blocked it with the knife she was holding.
The blade chipped.
The blocking time bought her a chance of attack.
She used an upper cut to throw him away.
Looking at the opportunity, Telepath gained distance and showered with knives and short blades.
Ridhi dodged most of it but a few manages to scar her.
She smiled, "I took you for a weakling but clearly you have the skills."
"I don't know what are you talking about."
"Owe! Don't be like that. Your knives had quite unusual pattern and not to mention throwing them with similar trajectories to hide one behind the others."
"I am just good at throwing knives, then."
"Look, you managed to cut me a bit."
"You talk too much little deity."
Hit connected his stick chain and gave them a twist to lock the threading and then unsheathed its upper part.
"Now prepare yourself for my blade." Hit threw the covering at Ridhi and charged in, once more.
Telepath never stopped throwing blades like she had an infinite number of them.
One after the other.
Each with greater precision and deadlier than before.
Some grazed her, some were ducked.
A few missed while the other struck.
Ongoing with this she grabbed the covering thrown at her.
Hit entered her space and thrust his body weight behind the blade to make a hole through her heart.
Ridhi, as soon as she sensed the blade in vicinity, she disappeared. Before Hit could find her, she appeared in front of Telepath.
