As Isaac walked away, he reached out with his true world and pulled his knife out of the corpse and pulled it back into his true world. All forms of resistance that he had felt when trying to use it on Tiy's father before were gone now that he was a pile of ash fading in the wind.
Isaac looked down at his new glove and began to inspect it, and after a while he finally arrived at how it worked.
It used an unknown type of magic to give it the effect of a circle spell, but only in the function that makes it draw mana from the surroundings into itself, but with the glove, it draws the mana into the wearer.
The glove was composed of something that fundamentally didn't make sense in the magic that earth uses, but seemed to work perfectly fine using magic that the rooters had made.
Although it was a bit surprising for Isaac, it made sense to him since the understanding of earth magic came from old texts and rituals from thousands of years ago, with the most recent text showing magic coming from the early Middle Ages.
Isaac was sure that this unknown form of magic was what made him overcome with greed, he would have to push it to the back of his mind for now since he didn't have any way to research the magic inside it.
After some more experimenting, Isaac was able to bring the glove into his true world, as well as find out what stopped him from doing so. In the inner part of the glove, a flame Symbol was engraved into it that seemed to repel true worlds, but with some spells, Isaac was able to seal over the engraving and allow him to bring it inside his true world.
By the time Isaac had finished this, he had arrived back at the camp with the glove on his hand.
As Isaac walked into the camp, it appeared like a ghost town, with only Tiy and Stug standing next to the entrance to the monument, which was now clear of any rocks blocking it.
As Isaac approached them, they glanced at him before finishing their conversation.
The first one to talk to Isaac was Tiy, who gave him a look, looking for any wounds from the fight, but could only see charred clothes.
"You look uninjured. I wonder how that happened, since it's been over two hours since you ran off."
Isaac sat down while leaning against the wall of the cave.
"I used a few tricks, but a lot of it was his own fault. Also, next time you give me insight into someone's traits, make sure it's accurate."
Tiy gave a confused look to Isaac, seemingly not understanding.
"That was the most up to date info I had on my father. He hasn't used his trait in any new ways since before I was born?"
Isaac drank some water before responding.
"Well, he was able to do more than make physical forms for his lies, considering he managed to steal one of my traits."
Isaac knew that lying to Tiy wasn't a good option, but since she doesn't believe in his true world, it would make it easier to explain by calling it a trait.
Tiy, hearing this from Isaac, stopped moving and looked down at him.
"Wait, so you're telling me that my father was able to take one of your traits?"
Isaac nodded
"Yeah, he basically said that my trait now belongs to him, but luckily for me, the trait has a big downside to it and caused him to lose some of his memories and all of his mana, so I took care of him after that."
Tiy smiled at Isaac.
"So he's dead now, like permanently?"
Isaac stood up and nodded.
"Yeah, I burned him into a crisp, and he is now a pile of dust, so yeah, I would say he is dead permanently."
Tiy fell silent, but Stug spoke up in this moment of silence
"Anyway, what's our plan for fighting the Elders?"
Both Isaac and Stug turned to look at Tiy, who was still silent and seemingly not listening.
Isaac spoke to Stug.
"It seems like Tiy never thought that far."
He then followed up with a shrug while shaking his head.
"What even happened to the windbless when I was away?"
Stug waved his hand, and at least fifty people crawled over to the entrance of the cave, all of them had bugs crawling out of their bodies like they were using the bodies as homes.
"Tiy cursed them and made them fall asleep, and then my bugs began to crawl inside and took over them. Around half of the windbless ran away, but it seems like the majority of them were still affected by the curse Tiy used a few months ago, so they will either die or come back here."
Isaac held himself back from being sick at the sight of humans infested with bugs from every part of their bodies. He then began to walk around the camp, but didn't leave sight of the others.
Isaac looked inside a few tents and then spoke out.
"Hey, Stug, do you know where the windbless would keep their weapons, or even some of their materials?"
Stug seemed to be expecting this question and pointed to two tents, one was close to the centre of the town, while the other was on the outskirts.
"The one in the centre has the tanner that you need. Tiy said you were looking for some for some reason. As for weapons, the other tent is where they keep most of them, but most of them are poorly made, or just gone from the few that ran away."
Isaac looked in both tents, and as Stug said, the weapon tent was practically empty, and even the few weapons that were there served no use to Isaac, as he was looking for a new bow or something similar.
As for the tent with the tanner, it had more than enough for his bear hide, it also had some food that looked relatively safe to eat, and it would be best to take since the bugs would eat it once they were done with the corpses.
Isaac walked over to Tiy and Stug and responded to Stug's question as to what they should do against the elders.
"In my opinion, the Elders are too powerful for just us three, so I think we should be patient and slowly convince others to join us."
Stug looked at Isaac, who was walking over to him, and instead of his normal sarcastic tone, he spoke with a hint of curiosity.
"Well, how do we convince people to join us when the Elders have such a strong grasp?"
Isaac stood still and calmed his breathing.
"In my world, there are constant fights between groups. Some of them are with weapons, while others are simply trying to sell the same goods, but something as old as the concept of war is the poach you competition."
Tiy looked up at him and spoke.
"What is 'poach'?"
Isaac was ready for that question since it was clear a word like poach won't exist in the rooter language, so it can't be translated with the 'Understand' spell.
"Poach can mean a few things, but to put it simply, we are going to make our own group, against the Elders, and slowly convince people to join us by using better conditions, like more warmth and food, and our main point, which will be allowing them to vote for their leader after the war."
As Tiy and Stug looked at Isaac, it was clear that what they were about to do would definitely succeed with the help of someone from Earth, a world where freedom is what everyone wants.
