Jade looked at Cain after the girls left, then turned to Anika, who was still staring at Cain with clear infatuation in her eyes.
"Ah, excuse me, Anika, I think you should go and get ready since the other girls have already left," Jade said, carefully filtering his words as much as possible.
"It's fine. I can find them later," Anika replied, her eyes still fixed on Cain.
Cain felt increasingly annoyed by Anika's actions. He looked directly at her, his tone icy cold as he spoke.
"Are you dumb, ignorant, or are you just pretending not to understand what he's telling you?"
Anika was taken aback by Cain's words and tone. She tried to ease the tension by laughing it off, but Cain continued staring at her with a cold expression she couldn't withstand for long. Eventually, she turned and walked away toward the direction Tara and the others had gone.
Just then, Jade and Cain heard Kahan curse under his breath.
