Chapter 110 - Chapter 109 Kira Would Really Cut the Internet Cable

"So, Sister, you aren't taking proper care of your health and have started gaming again?" Kira sat on Leticia's bed, glaring fiercely at Leticia with her big eyes.

Leticia turned her head and gave her younger sister a big smile. "I'm just bored, I have to find something to do."

Given her current physical state, she couldn't exactly go out to play. If she couldn't go out, then wasn't there only one thing left to do?

Gaming is just too good.

"By the way, Sister, where do you plan to have Candice stay?"

"Huh?"

"Doctor Candice, I mean. I can sleep with you, Sister, but Doctor Candice can't exactly sleep with Sister Luna, right?" Kira realized that her idiot sister didn't seem to have thought about this problem at all. "The house I rented has already expired."

If they didn't think of a solution before nightfall, poor Candice would have to go sleep in a hotel.

"How about we just let Candice sleep in a hotel?" Leticia chuckled.

"Your Majesty, there is no need to worry about this problem." Luna, who was tidying up outside, heard the discussion between the two sisters, pushed the door open, and said to the two girls, "I have discussed it with Malanie, and Doctor Candice can stay with Miss Lin Qingyu."

"Lin Qingyu? Isn't she living at the York family's house?" Leticia was a bit confused. Lin Qingyu was picked up by Yori; could it be that Melanie had arranged another place for her?

"There are no spare rooms in Malanie Ling's house. To accommodate Miss Lin Qingyu, she bought the room across from her house." Luna explained, "Simple renovations have been completed, so at least it's no problem for someone to live there."

"Ah... this..." Leticia admitted that she knew nothing about how wealthy Melanie was.

Candice's living arrangements were thus decided. Feeling like there was nothing left for her to do, Leticia put on her headphones, intending to continue her adventure.

Then, before she could even start playing, Yori's energetic voice came from outside the door. "Little Lu, Little Lu, come play with me!"

Kira's face instantly fell. She really had no way to deal with Yori; this infinitely energetic girl truly made the cold-natured Kira feel at a loss.

"I still need to take care of my sister." After seeing Yori, Kira said very seriously to the young girl.

Yori looked at Leticia, who was already immersed in the game world, and felt that this version of Leticia didn't seem to look like someone who needed taking care of.

"I'll take care of her; Little Lu, you go play with Little Lu." Melanie appeared at the door like a ghost. "Little Lu has always wanted to play games with you and that Lin Qingyu."

Actually, Melanie didn't mind, or rather, she was very happy to play games with her younger sister, but Yori minded very much.

No matter how much her sister pampered her, in Yori's eyes, Melanie was still an elder, and she couldn't bring herself to chat and laugh while playing games with an elder.

"Then... alright." Kira jumped off the bed with some resignation.

Leticia indeed didn't need any special care; the only requirement was not to let her play games for too long.

"Sister started playing at six o'clock. Sister Melanie, you must make her log off at eight. If she refuses, cut the internet cable or pull the power switch."

The corner of Melanie's eye twitched. Kira really was Leticia's biological sister.

Cutting the internet cable, pulling the power switch—this was just too...

"Alright, I understand." But since this was the request of her own sister, it was better for an outsider like Melanie to follow it.

Besides, patients need to rest properly, of course. Sitting in front of the computer all the time isn't good for her health.

She looked up at the clock. Hmm, it was seven-thirty.

Leticia's good times were set to end in half an hour.

Time ticked away, and when the slender minute hand slowly strolled to the mark labeled twelve, Melanie stood up and tapped Leticia on the shoulder twice.

"What?" Leticia took off her headphones and asked.

However, her eyes remained firmly fixed on the screen. This game was at a critical moment, and she couldn't allow herself even the slightest distraction.

"Time is up; Kira asked me to remind you to log off."

"Can I wait until I finish this round?" Leticia was surprisingly easy to talk to, seemingly understanding that Melanie was just a mouthpiece.

Since Kira said it, what else could she, as the older sister, do? She just had to accept it obediently, right?

She believed that if she ignored Melanie and continued gaming, when she woke up the next day, her internet cable would likely have been cut by Kira.

You need to pace yourself; being too greedy will only backfire.

Having fun for one day—ah no, not necessarily having fun, because Kira might come back at any time—compared to being able to play games for the next few days, Leticia's choice was very wise.

She wanted to play for a few more days.

Kira wasn't some terrifying monster. As long as she didn't go too far, her little sister was still very considerate of her big sister.

"Hmm." Melanie accepted Leticia's request.

She was very understanding, after all.

After about five minutes, realizing she needed to hurry, Leticia unleashed her power and successfully ruined her team's great advantage with her own hands.

Looking at the blood-red word "Defeat" on the screen, Leticia covered her face with her hands. "Wuwuwu, I lost."

And it was all her fault.

"...Noob." Melanie didn't know how best to comfort Leticia, so she patted the girl's shoulder again, and after holding it in for a long time, only managed to squeeze out one word.

"If you don't know how to talk, then don't speak." Leticia glared at Melanie. Sure enough, whenever she encountered Melanie, her blood pressure would shoot right up.

Shutting down the computer, Leticia stared blankly at the ceiling, her heart falling into confusion.

Who was she, where was she, and what should she be doing?

Before, when she could play games all the time, she wouldn't have this feeling of confusion, but today, she couldn't play.

So a question was placed before her: what should she do?

Read a book? Read a novel? Current novels were all a bit boring; it had been a long time since Leticia found a novel that suited her tastes.

Go do something that makes people happy? Given the current situation, it wasn't really appropriate to do those kinds of things, right?

"How about we go check on Little Lu and the others?" Melanie also saw Leticia's confusion, so she offered her suggestion.

Little Lu should have dragged Kira off to play a game. As far as Melanie knew, it seemed to be a role-playing adventure game.

Right, it wasn't electronic, but a physical one, similar to Monopoly.

The rules were a bit complicated, but judging from the reviews Melanie found online, the game's replayability was very high.

"Sure, I'm free anyway, let's go check on Kira and the others."
