Chapter 105 - Chapter 104. Little Lu, Who Just Realized She Is a Young Lady

For the past few days, Yori has been a bit unhappy.

The reason for her unhappiness, of course, is that girl who streaked across her life like a shooting star.

Luca, she disappeared, taking Quinn with her.

"Sister is sick, I need to take her to get treated." On the morning of the day she left, Luca said this to Yori.

Sick?

Yori didn't believe it at all.

Clearly, just the day before, Quinn had gone out on a date with her sister and hadn't returned all night; how could she be sick the very next day?

It couldn't be that she was too rough and hurt Quinn, could it?

Even if she had been too rough, it's been almost a month; she should have healed and returned by now. Yet, there hasn't been a single bit of news; they seem to have evaporated into thin air.

Yori had also asked her sister what was going on, but every time her sister was asked this question, she would stammer and change the subject.

"Don't worry about them; once Ohara has healed, they will be back."

Healed?

It's been a month! A whole month!

What kind of injury takes that long to heal?

Even if she needed to recover, she could at least answer a phone call, right?

But neither Quinn's nor Little Lu's phones could be reached, as if they were no longer in this world.

"Seriously, where on earth did they run off to?" Yori muttered to herself with a sullen face.

Her newly made good friend had suddenly vanished, and she had no mood to study. These past few days, she was frequently called out by her teachers during class.

But Yori just couldn't calm down; she just wanted to know where Quinn and Little Lu had gone.

But that bad sister of hers, even though she knew the answer, insisted on keeping it from her; she was really too mean.

Moreover, this past month, her sister seemed to have returned to her previous state, leaving early every morning and only returning home long after night had fallen. She had no idea what she was busy with outside.

When asked, she would only shake her head and say: "Once Little Lu grows up, Sister will tell you everything."

Yori really wanted to say that she was already grown up; she was already sixteen, a young woman!

The young girl, sulking in her heart, didn't notice a petite figure wearing a black cloak walking towards her. It wasn't until her shoulder was hit hard that she realized she had bumped into someone.

Thud.

In the midst of the spinning world, Yori heard the sound of a heavy object falling to the ground.

Then, she subconsciously used her hands to steady herself.

Wait, I didn't fall, so who fell?

Yori quickly turned around and immediately saw the tiny figure she had collided with lying face down on the ground.

Someone trying to scam me?!

Countless news stories flashed through Yori's clever little mind, but she quickly dismissed this suspicion because the tiny figure lying on the ground seemed genuinely weak.

"Are you okay? Do you want me to take you to the hospital?" Yori squatted down and turned the tiny figure over.

Hidden beneath the black hood was a cute little face, with messy black hair stuck to her flushed cheeks, making the girl look incredibly pitiful and endearing.

A girl like this couldn't possibly be a scammer, and looking at her current state, it felt quite ominous.

Hearing Yori's voice, the girl opened her eyes a slit, "Don't..."

The girl's eyes were different from Yori's; they were a pair of eyes as beautiful as emeralds, a lush green color that seemed to allow one to see a verdant forest within them.

"But you're in a very bad state right now." Yori carefully touched the girl's forehead, "And you also have a fever."

If this isn't handled well, this girl might drop dead on the street.

"Cannot... go to the hospital... cannot..." The girl closed her eyes, as if even opening them was an unbearable exertion for her.

She can't go to the hospital, so what should I do?

Should I just leave this girl here? That's definitely not okay.

It wasn't that Yori was kind-hearted; it was because she had just bumped into this girl hard. If this girl really died here, Yori felt that her collision would be partially responsible.

After all, before they bumped into each other, this girl was still able to walk unsteadily, but now, she was lying on the ground without even the strength to move.

But she said she couldn't go to the hospital, so she couldn't just bring her home, right?

Even if she wanted to bring her home, she had to discuss it with her sister first.

Yes, she had to discuss it with her sister first.

"Hey, Sister, do you have a moment?" She dialed her sister's number, and a few seconds later, the call was answered.

"Yes." Melanie's calm voice came through the phone, causing Yori's pounding little heart to slowly settle down.

Her sister's voice always gave Yori a very reliable feeling, as if as long as her sister was there, she could rely on her for anything.

"Um, I accidentally bumped into a girl on the road. Her condition is very bad, but she said she doesn't want to go to the hospital." Yori told Melanie everything that had just happened.

"Hmm." After listening to her younger sister's account, Melanie fell into deep thought.

Send her straight to the hospital?

The girl kept emphasizing that she couldn't go to the hospital; perhaps she had some unspeakable difficulty.

She also couldn't just leave her alone... after all, it was Little Lu who accidentally bumped into her.

If a hospital won't work, a private doctor should be fine, right?

"Bring her home first; I'll be there soon." Melanie paused, then added, "Just stay where you are; someone will come to help you."

"Okay." Although she didn't know who the helper her sister mentioned was, it was better to trust her sister at a time like this.

Then, Yori saw several professionally dressed young women in black jump out of a black sedan parked on the side of the road and run to her side.

Is this the helper her sister mentioned?!

Also, had a group of people like this been following her all along?

"Miss Ya, is this the girl?" A handsome, professional-looking older sister took off her sunglasses and asked the completely stunned Yori.

"Ah, yes, that's her." Yori, as if waking from a dream, quickly nodded.

The title "Miss Ya" was so embarrassing!

"You, you, carry this girl to the car." The older sister casually pointed at two people, telling them to carry the unconscious young girl onto the car, and then she turned to Yori and said, "Miss Ya, please get in the car as well."

As soon as she finished speaking, two black sedans, which Yori had only ever seen in TV dramas, pulled up beside them.

The woman in black stepped forward and opened the car door, "Please."

This is just too cool!

Yori, who had never had a real sense of her own identity, suddenly felt that she was so awesome; she actually had personal bodyguards like those wealthy young ladies in TV dramas.

So, she really was a young lady!

This feeling is just too amazing!
