[TL/N: Before you start reading, I'd like you to know that this is not copy-pasted. I'll be posting the original title soon in the Review Section. This is a Chinese novel and i remove most Chinese-specific elements, so you can read without getting annoyed by excessive nationalism or author bias. The main character has been changed to an American, and several elements have been modified, for example, "China" has been replaced with the U.S.A., and top streamers like "Sao Zhu" have been replaced with real-world Twitch personalities such as CaseOh. In short, you can read with peace of mind. ENJOY!]

The viewers were analyzing the surrounding situation, while Jenny listened with growing panic in her heart.
"Szzzt... Szzzt..." At this moment, a burst of distorted static suddenly came from ahead.
"What the fuck is that noise"
Jenny cried out, her heart instantly jumping into her throat.
Then the sound changed into a man's serious, formal newscaster voice.
"We interrupt this broadcast with an urgent news report. Three days ago, a man brutally murdered his wife and child inside their own home."
"Jenny, don't be afraid. That sounds like a radio playing the news."
"Yeah, yeah, stay calm!"
"Go listen carefully. It seems like important plot information!"
"Yeah, yeah, stay calm and don't move I'm nearing it."
Hearing the viewers' words, Jenny heard the last comment point a middle finger in the camera. Steadied herself a little and continued walking forward.
Sure enough, she discovered a recessed counter on one side of the corridor ahead, with a radio placed on it.
The radio continued its broadcast:
"On the day of the murder, the man used a rifle to shoot his wife while she was cleaning the corridor.
His six-year-old daughter cleverly hid inside the bathroom, but the man later told his daughter it was only a game and tricked her into opening the bathroom door."
"The daughter was shot in the head at point-blank range, while the wife, who was shot in the abdomen, had been pregnant at the time."
"After a neighbor called the police, officers arrived at the scene and found the man sitting in the hallway, listening to the radio."
The radio broadcast cut off abruptly here. The content clearly carried a massive amount of information!
"Damn, this murder case didn't happen in this house, did it?!"
"It sounds like it!"
"So this house is a murder house!"
"Fucking animal. That man heartlessly killed his pregnant wife and daughter. That's basically three lives!"
"Tsk tsk tsk, this is way too terrifying."
The viewers chattered on. Jenny, on the other hand, felt like cursing out loud!
Damn it, did the background story have to be designed this creepily?!
After hearing this report, Jenny felt even more uneasy inside.
However, listening to the constant sound of incoming gifts in her ear, she gritted her teeth and continued forward.
Ahead, the corridor made a ninety-degree turn to the right. After passing this corner, Jenny suddenly stopped in her tracks, her beautiful eyes widening dramatically.
On the wall in front of her was a large splatter of blood!
The blood was sprayed in a fan shape, covering the entire wall. Some of it had even landed on the floor and the counter not far away.
"Shit, look at all that blood!"
"It's confirmed. This is the crime scene!"
"This must be the moment the man shot his wife. The rifle sprayed blood everywhere!"
"So the woman that flashed past in the door crack earlier was probably the murdered wife of this house."
"Fuck, my Spider sense is starting to tingle."
The viewers analyzed. Combining the news report with the scene before them, it wasn't hard to figure out. Jenny had thought of it too.
"Jesus, can you guys stop discussing this? The more you talk, the more scared I get!" Jenny yelled.
She now desperately wished this game was some poorly made trash title. At least then it wouldn't be this frightening.
Suppressing the fear in her heart, Jenny slowly stepped over the pool of blood and arrived in front of the counter.
On the counter was a family photo. It should have been a picture of the family of three, but the faces of the two people on the left were completely covered by sprayed blood, making them unrecognizable. Only the gloomy face of the man on the right was visible.
This must be the man who killed his wife and child. The man's face was staring straight ahead.
For a moment, Jenny felt as if the man was staring directly at her.
Damn it, was this her imagination, or was the game deliberately designed this way?
Jenny no longer had the mind to think about it. She quickly looked away, not daring to make eye contact with the man in the photo.
She continued forward. Soon, she discovered another door on the right side of the corridor ahead.
The lower part of the door had frosted glass, and there was an absorbent bath mat placed in front of it.
"This looks like a bathroom!"
"No shit sherlock."
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
The audience urged her on, but Jenny felt an enormous amount of pressure. She remembered clearly that the man had killed his daughter inside the bathroom.
This bathroom was another murder scene...
"Stop stalling, Jenny. I'll send you gifts!"
A bullet comment notification sounded, followed immediately by the sound of gifts being sent.
"Fine..." Jenny took a deep breath and placed her right hand on the doorknob. The viewers' hearts rose along with hers.
The next moment, click click...
The sound of the door being locked came from the handle.
Jenny let out a heavy sigh of relief: "The door is locked. It won't open."
Thank goodness. She felt it was actually better that the door wouldn't open. At least she wouldn't have to enter the bathroom.
The viewers inexplicably breathed a sigh of relief as well.
