Chapter 20 - Aftermath

The room was silent as Assistant Director Ijichi delivered the serious briefing. The faculty members listened intently, their expressions grave. Aiden sat quietly, his uniform impeccable, giving nothing away about his recent activities with Hanami's cursed essence.

Aidan sits in the council room, having been summoned for two different One was to discuss what happened the second reason was because of his capture of another first spirit and the fact that he's a special grade helps.the official damage and tactical briefing is delivered by assistant director Kiyotaka Ijichi. He discusses the casualties, what was stolen by the curses, and the security breach to the following members of the Jujutsu High Faculty:Satoru Gojo (Tokyo High Teacher)Masamichi Yaga (Tokyo High Principal)Yoshinobu Gakuganji (Kyoto High Principal)Utahime Iori (Kyoto High Faculty Advisor)Mei Mei (Grade 1 Sorcerer).

"The casualties are... minimal, but concerning," Ijichi said, adjusting his glasses nervously. "Three civilians confirmed dead, twelve injured. The curses stole several classified documents from the local precinct—intelligence regarding sorcerer movements and techniques."

He paused, glancing at Aiden. "And... we have confirmed the capture of a Special Grade cursed spirit. Hanami."

The room erupted.

"How?" Principal Yaga asked sharply, his eyes fixed on Aiden. "Special Grade curses are nearly impossible to capture, let alone subdue." Assistant Director Ijichi cleared his throat before continuing. "According to the reports, a certain special grade sorcerer managed this feat."

"mainly because of me one of my curse techniques is called cursed spirit manipulation. I'm pretty sure you already know what it does and since I'm A special grade it wasn't hard to defeat her."

The room fell silent. Mei Mei chuckled softly at Aiden's blunt explanation, her keen eyes studying him with interest. "Cursed Spirit Manipulation," she murmured, tapping her chin. "A rare and incredibly potent technique. But capturing a Special Grade curse like Hanami is no small feat."

Principal Yaga narrowed his eyes. "The Council is well aware of your technique, Aiden."

Principal Yaga continued, his tone measured. "However, the capture of a Special Grade cursed spirit is unprecedented. Hanami was one of the most powerful curses documented. Her technique—flower and plant manipulation on a massive scale—was considered nearly unstoppable."

Utahime crossed her arms, looking skeptical. "And you simply... defeated her? No fight? No struggle?"

"When you have a domain expansion It's not hard."The room went dead silent at his casual tone. Satoru Gojo smirked, leaning back in his chair with obvious amusement. "Domain Expansion," he repeated, his blue eyes glinting. "We all know a Domain Expansion guarantees victory within its territory. But Hanami was Special Grade. She should have been able to resist or counter."

Utahime frowned.

"that is true, but my domain is special to say the least, and I'm not going to go into detail about what it does."

Utahime's frown deepened. "Not going into detail?" She repeated incredulously. "You just captured a Special Grade curse and you won't even explain your Domain?"

Principal Yaga raised an eyebrow. "A domain that can subdue a Special Grade curse without a struggle suggests something far more potent than a standard guaranteed-hit domain."

"well, call me suspicious, but I don't exactly trust most of the people in here especially a certain old man who looks like he's about to die who sent his students to kill a friend of mine." He said his eyes is narrowing at Yoshinobu Gakuganji

The room went deathly silent. Every eye turned toward Yoshinobu Gakuganji, the elderly Kyoto principal. His face hardened into fury, his wrinkled hands tightening around his cane.

"Watch your tongue, boy," Gakuganji growled, his voice cracking with age but still commanding. "I did what was necessary for the preservation of jujutsu society."

"I don't have to watch anything Old man, you should watch yourself around me because the people in the room either don't have the power or would you rather just watch as I kill you?"

Yoshinobu Gakuganji's face turned beet red with rage, his eyes bulging. "How dare you threaten me, you arrogant brat! I am a principal of one of the most prestigious jujutsu high schools in the country!" He slammed his cane on the table, making everyone jump.

"So what was so special about that you're just a senile old man who was lucky to even live this far do not push your luck."

The room exploded into chaos. Mei Mei quickly stood up, her voice cutting through the uproar. "ENOUGH!" She snapped. "This is a council meeting, not a brawl between children!" Principal Yaga looked on with shock, while Utahime had a small smile playing on her lips. "OK, fine," Aiden said finally.

Principal Yaga cleared his throat, trying to regain control of the meeting. "Let's all take a deep breath and remember why we're here. Aiden, while your straightforwardness is... refreshing, it's important to maintain respect within this council." He glanced meaningfully at Gakuganji before continuing.

"my respect is earned, and he has done nothing to earn that respect."

Satoru Gojo burst out laughing, the tension breaking as he threw his head back. "He has a point, old man. You *did* try to kill Yuji. That's not exactly a reputation-builder."

Gakuganji sputtered, humiliation and rage warring on his wrinkled face. "Yuji Itadori housed Sukuna!"

"The keyword being houses meaning has some underlock and key."

"Under-locking key?" Gakuganji repeated, his voice rising. "What does that even mean? You think you can just... keep Sukuna contained? He's a Special Grade cursed spirit!" Utahime raised her hand. "Let the boy finish his explanation before you start yelling."

"you're right he's a cursed spirit and I have a technique that lets me control Cursed spirits so let's just say I could Get him inside my domain expansion. What do you think it's gonna happen?"

Gakuganji's face contorted with fury. "Insolence! Absolute insolence!" He slammed his cane on the ground. "You cannot simply control a Special Grade cursed spirit like Sukuna! It's impossible!"

Satoru Gojo leaned back with a smirk. "Careful, old man. He's talking."

"thank you Gojo now as I was saying, I could easily once we got all the fingers inside yuji separate Thank you Gojo now as I was saying, I could easily once we got all the fingers inside yuji Separate him from yuji."

The room fell silent. Principal Yaga narrowed his eyes. "Separate Sukuna from Itadori? That's a feat no one has ever accomplished."

Utahime leaned forward, intrigued. "How exactly would you do that, Aiden? Sukuna is the King of Curses. He's not exactly known for cooperating."

Gakuganji scoffed. "Impossible."

"First of all, shut up old man secondly yuji Would willingly do it if it meant Getting rid of sukuna and the pool side I'm pretty sure by the time that happens all of Sukuna's Techniques imprinted inside of his soul."

Gojo laughed again. "That's actually a good point. Yuji might be willing to do it." He glanced at Gakuganji. "And if Yuji's willing, it's worth considering." Gakuganji's face turned beet red with anger. "You're all idiots!"

"No one asked your opinion anyways what do the rest of you think?"

Principal Yaga steepled his fingers, thinking. "It's risky. But if it means separating Sukuna from Yuji... it might be worth the attempt." Mei Mei nodded in agreement. "I'm with you on this, Aiden. The idea of a sorcerer controlling Sukuna is terrifying, but if we can separate them..."

Utahanime crossed her arms, still looking skeptical. "But what guarantee do we have that you won't just turn around and keep Sukuna under your control? That's exactly what Gakuganji was worried about."

Gakuganji smirked triumphantly. "Exactly! You see? Even she understands the danger!" Gojo groaned.

"Who said that wasn't the original plan? in case you don't know, once you have a curse, permanently under your control with cursed spirit manipulation. They cannot do anything you don't want them to do no matter how fast, smart or strong they are." said Aiden Zenin

The room fell silent once more, everyone processing Aiden's words carefully. Gojo whistled softly, realizing the implications. "Wait a minute... if that's true, then once you separate Sukuna from Yuji, you could essentially control the King of Curses."

"Basically, yes."

Gakuganji slammed his cane down, his voice cracking with rage. "You would become the most dangerous sorcerer in history! Controlling Sukuna permanently? This is madness!"

Mei Mei narrowed her eyes. "And what would stop you, Aiden? You already captured Hanami. What's to say you wouldn't just keep Sukuna as your pet?"

"I would only summon him when I need him which probably won't be that often."

Principal Yaga leaned forward, his expression serious. "And what if Sukuna refuses to cooperate? What if he fights back even under your control?" Gojo smirked. "He's got a point there. Sukuna isn't exactly known for playing nice."

"That's where another one of my techniques comes in to play. It's called idle Transfiguration it's how I was able to beat the other special grade spirit. I thought I can just touch your soul and deactivate all of his techniques temporarily."

The room erupted. "Idle Transfiguration?" Utahime repeated, shocked. "That's Mahito's technique! How do you..."

Gojo leaned forward, eyes wide. "So you could just... deactivate all of Sukuna's techniques temporarily? On a soul level?"

Gakuganji looked horrified. "You are playing with souls!"

"Yes, yes and fuck you old man."

Gakuganji's face turned purple with anger. "You insolent child! You dare speak to me, the Principal of Gakugan High School, that way?" He stood up, cane trembling. "I demand an apology!" Gojo rolled his eyes,

"No." he said in a flat tone.Gojo chuckled. "Leave him, old man. He's got a point." He turned to Aiden. "So, let me get this straight. You can control Sukuna, deactivate his techniques, and basically make him your bitch whenever you want?"

"Well, basically yes." The room was dead silent. Mei Mei whistled appreciatively. Utahime looked conflicted. Principal Yaga rubbed his temples. "And what about the Zenin clan? Your surname is Zenin."

Gakuganji sneered. "The Zenin clan would NEVER allow a mere..." He trailed off, realizing he was about to call Aiden something he'd regret.

"do you have dementia I mean, like really do you have it because you must've forgotten I already made Them except me being a half curse half human so they don't care what I do."

Gakuganji's mouth opened and closed like a fish, unable to form words. Gojo burst out laughing so hard he doubled over. "He got you there, grandpa! The Zenin clan already accepts him as a half-curse. They don't give a damn."

Principal Yaga sighed heavily before he continued, "You have Cursed Spirit Manipulation, Idle Transfiguration, the 10 shadows technique and a Domain Expansion that can capture Special Grade curses. Plus you're half-curse yourself. The Zenin clan doesn't oppose you." He glanced at Gakuganji, who looked like he was about to have a stroke. "Essentially... there's no one who can stop you."

Gakuganji's hands trembled as he clutched his cane. His eyes twitched with rage. "This is unacceptable! A child holding that kind of power?" He spat. "Jujutsu High should not be allowing this!" Mei Mei chuckled smoothly. "And what exactly do you propose, old man? Are you trying to say we shouldn't trust Aiden?"

Gakuganji's face turned red again. "I propose we lock him up! He's too dangerous!" He pointed his cane at Aiden. "He could control Sukuna, deactivate techniques, capture Special Grades... he's a walking disaster waiting to happen!" Principal Yaga raised an eyebrow.

"Lock him up?" Gojo smirked. "Who would even stop him? You?" He glanced at the elderly man. "You can barely walk across the room without your knees giving out." Gakuganji was breathing heavily, his face contorted with rage.

Utahime crossed her arms. "The Zenin clan doesn't oppose him. You can't stop him."

"Honestly old man think before you speak You say that like you have to power in the situation when in reality you don't."

Gakuganji's eyes bulged, his mouth opening but no sound coming out. He looked like a kettle whistling itself empty. Gojo was howling with laughter now, tears streaming down his face. "That's it! That's the final nail in his coffin!"

Mei Mei smirked. "The child has a point."

The room was painfully silent. Gakuganji looked like he'd been slapped, his wrinkled face contorting in humiliation. "You... you arrogant little..." He couldn't even finish his sentence. Principal Yaga exhaled slowly. "He's right. You have no authority over him. The Zenin clan accepts him. He captured a Special Grade curse."

Utahime nodded slowly. "And Gojo supports him. The Zenin clan supports him. Even Mei Mei seems..." She trailed off, glancing at the wealthy sorcerer.

Gakuganji whirled around. "You too, Mei Mei?! You're selling out jujutsu society for this... this half-breed?!"

Mei Mei's smile didn't waver.

Mei Mei chuckled, her eyes sparkling with interest as she looked at Aiden. "Well, well... a wealthy Zenin heir with incredible power and a charming personality. What's not to like?" She winked at Aiden, making Gakuganji sputter in outrage.

Gakuganji's face turned purple with rage. "You! You're corrupting this decision with your selfish desires! A sorcerer's duty is not to flirt with attractive heirs!" He pointed his cane accusingly at Mei Mei. "This is disgraceful!"

*Utahime looked uncomfortable, Gojo smirked, Mei Mei simply smiled more widely.*

"OK, so if I Went to kill him right now would any of you try to stop me."

Gojo grinned, his arms crossed. "Go for it." Utahime hesitated, but didn't move. Mei Mei simply watched, amused. Gakuganji's eyes widened in horror as he saw no one moving to stop Aiden. He was already behind the old guy and snapped his neck.

The room was absolutely silent. Gakuganji's body slumped to the floor with a thud. No one moved. Utahime looked shocked. Gojo just raised an eyebrow. "Well... that solves that problem." Mei Mei licked her lips slowly.

Principal Yaga stared at the body on the floor. "You just killed a principal." He sounded more surprised than angry.

Utahime covered her mouth. "He didn't even warn us..."

Gojo shrugged. "Old man was asking for it anyway."

Mei Mei hummed approvingly. "Clean. Efficient." She glanced at Aiden with renewed interest.

"I would've used one of my techniques, but I didn't want the floors to be smeared with this old man's blood."

Gojo burst out laughing again. "So you killed him with your bare hands just to keep the floors clean?" He wiped tears from his eyes. "That's some Zenin extravagance right there."

Mei Mei smiled. "A wealthy man who values aesthetics even in murder..." She seemed genuinely impressed. Utahime looked horrified. "You just murdered a principal in cold blood!"

"He already attempted to kill My classmate yuji Twice the first time when he and the other higher ups sent us on a special grade mission Of course I handle it, but if I hadn't been there, he would've Died and yesterday when he told his students to kill him."

*Utahime's eyes widened as she remembered those incidents. Gojo's smile faded, replaced by a serious expression. Mei Mei's impressed look turned into one of understanding and even admiration.* "Wait a minute..." Utahime whispered. "He's protecting his classmates..." Gojo nodded slowly.

Utahime looked at Aiden with new eyes. "He killed Gakuganji to protect Yuji..." She turned to Principal Yaga. "Sir, he didn't just murder a principal. He eliminated a threat to his classmate." Mei Mei nodded in agreement. "And he did it cleanly."

Gojo leaned back in his chair, his arms crossed. "Not only that, but he did it without hesitation. Without remorse. Just... cold calculation." He smirked. "This is the Zenin clan's future heir we're talking about. The guy's a natural-born killer."

That's when he heard what they were saying about the heir. " Wait, what do you mean heir?"

*The room fell silent as all eyes turned to Aiden. Principal Yaga cleared his throat.* "You don't know?" He asked softly. Utahime exchanged glances with Mei Mei and Gojo before answering. "Aiden, you're the Zenin clan's heir. The next clan head the current clan says it wherever he goes now that since they have a special grade, they be stupid not to make him their clan head."

Aiden's expression darkened as the pieces clicked into place. He remembered Naobito Zenin—the drunkard clan head who valued bloodline over everything else. The man who had disowned Maki and treated his own children like disposable tools based on their cursed technique potential.

Naobito wouldn't care about Aiden's unique heritage or the fact that he's a special grade. All that mattered to him was the power Aiden possesses—the mastery over the Ten Shadows technique. That alone was enough for Naobito to accept Aiden as the clan head and submit to his authority.

"You know," Gojo said suddenly, breaking the tense silence, "I think it's kind of funny. The clan head who only cares about power and bloodline ended up with a half-human, half-cursed spirit who became the strongest member of the clan." Utahime nodded.

"Okay that's a lot to take in."

"Here's the real kicker," Gojo added with a grin. "Naobito doesn't give a damn about your heritage. All he cares about is that Ten Shadows technique. The fact that you mastered it completely? That you're special grade? That you beat him in a fight? To him, you're the perfect heir."

Mei Mei tilted her head.

"So," Mei Mei mused, "you're basically the ultimate Zenin in Naobito's eyes. Strongest, most powerful, perfect cursed technique. He doesn't care that your mother's human or that your father's a cursed spirit. All he sees is the Ten Shadows technique."

"I'm fine with it. I never really respected him anyway anyways."

Utahime chuckled softly at Aiden's nonchalant attitude."That's the spirit. Naobito doesn't deserve your respect anyway. The man only cares about power and status." Gojo nodded in agreement.

"Thanks for the new information." He said getting up to leave the council room.

Gojo waved casually as Aiden walked towards the door. "See you around, kid. Don't cause too much trouble."

Mei Mei gave him a final wink. "Come visit me, heir. I've got plenty of wealth to share."

As Aiden stepped out of the council room, Utahime glanced at the slumped body of Gakuganji on the floor.

Utahime turned to the others with a small frown. "So... what are we going to do about Gakuganji's body?" Gojo shrugged unconcernedly. "Leave it there. It's not like anyone's going to miss the old coot."
