Chapter 25 - More problems

The group sat in one of Jujutsu High's high-security meeting rooms. The atmosphere was suffocating. Utahime and Mei sat on one side, looking stressed. Gojo sat backwards on his chair, grinning behind his blindfold. Yorozu sat practically on Aiden's lap, refusing to let him go, glaring at everyone.

Utahime slammed her hands on the table. "THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! We are talking about a Special Grade threat—not just roaming free, but living in the school! Walking around in an oversized lab coat! Attached to one of our students!"

Yorozu yawned dramatically. "He's not attached. He owns me. There's a difference."

Mei growled.

"she's not going to do anything when I had her transferred into my body. It was under the effects of a binding vow That Will forever serve me so I can tell her to do anything."

"Listen, she's not going to hurt anyone are you?"

Yorozu pouted, crossing her arms over her chest—which was currently squished against his side. She looked like a sulking child, despite being a centuries-old killer.

"Unless they touch my king, I have zero interest in hurting these insects," she declared dismissively. She nuzzled into Aiden's neck, marking her territory. "My violence belongs only to him."

"Can we just make her a teacher or something at Our school."

The room went utterly silent.

Utahime looked like she was about to have an aneurysm. "A TEACHER?! Aiden, this is a Special Grade CURSE from the Heian era, not a newly hired substitute!"

Mei facepalmed. "You want to put a centuries-old, Heian-era, obsessive, Special Grade curse on a teaching payroll?"

"It's the only way to keep her here and make sure she's not doing anything bad plus she was alive during ancient history. She could probably teach us a thing or two."

Gojo's grin widened dangerously. "Oh, I like this plan. Let's hire the ancient murder queen as a history teacher. The higher-ups are going to absolutely lose their minds."

Utahime looked like she might actually cry. "This is... this is... completely against every protocol!"

Yorozu, hearing this, perked up instantly—her ancient ego swelling with pride.

"A teacher? ME? Teaching these... these CHILDREN?" Yorozu scoffed, straightening the oversized lab coat as if it could be dignifying. "I have wiped entire clans from existence. I have killed sorcerers with Technique mastery far beyond these adolescents."

She looked up at Aiden, narrowing her cold eyes. "I'm not a babysitter, my king."

"I'm not asking you to babysit. I'm asking you to help teach. Also I'm a student so that means you can spend more time with me."

Yorozu's expression shifted instantly—from haughty disdain to something dangerously soft. Her obsession was showing. "Spend... more time with you?" She repeated slowly, like the concept was intoxicating.

Utahime groaned. "This is exactly what I'm talking about! She's obsessed with him! And now you want to give them MORE time together?!"

Gojo threw his head back and laughed. "Utahime, relax. Look at this. This ancient Special Grade who's been around since before the Sengoku period is literally gushing over a high school kid like he's her entire world. It's adorable."

Mei muttered, "It's terrifying."

Yorozus squeezed Aiden's arm possessively.

"I accept," Yorozu declared, her voice dripping with satisfaction. "A teaching position allows me proximity to my king while... enlightening these fools with knowledge they could never hope to possess." She tilted her chin up arrogantly. "I shall teach history. The real history—the one they don't print in their textbooks."

"Good now can we get her some clothes please? She's still wearing a lab coat."

"Clothing?" Yorozu scoffed, clearly disgusted by the concept. "I've worn better than that laboratory rag for the last few centuries, my king." She gestured vaguely to herself, the oversized lab coat swishing around her hips. "I prefer to go... unadorned. It's more efficient for combat."Utahime groaned loudly. "No!"

"These are modern times and it being inappropriate if you went naked all the time and they're also some clothes made specifically for the bedroom that you might like."

Yorozu's ears perked up at the mention of "bedroom clothes." Her mind immediately went elsewhere—something distinctly un-teacher-like.

"Bedroom clothes?" She asked, leaning closer, her voice dropping lower, more intrigued. "My king suggests... special attire... for his chambers?"

Utahime's eyes nearly bulged out. "FOR THE BEDROOM?!"

"Yes, and there's also a special kind of teachers uniform you could have in class."

Yorozu's expression turned calculating—she was suddenly very interested. "A uniform for... professional settings. And something more... intimate for my king's chambers?" She uncrossed her arms, nodding thoughtfully. "I suppose I could be persuaded to wear clothing... if it serves my purposes."

"Good Mei can you please take her to get some clothes." he reached into his shadow, pulling out two large bags of money. " one bag is for you to do whatever you want with it." he said to mei. " other bag is for her to get her whatever kind of clothes she wants."

"Wait... what?" Mei blinked in surprise as Aiden handed her one of the heavy money bags. "You're giving me... this? Just like that?" She weighed the bag in her hand—it was easily worth thousands of dollars. "For taking her shopping?" She eyed Yorozu warily.

"yes, I know you are money hungry so I know you wouldn't do it for free."

Mei's eyes went wide. She clutched the money bag to her chest like a newborn baby. "You... you read me like a book."

Utahime gasped. "Aiden!"

Mei held up a hand, already walking toward the door. "Relax. I'm going. I'm shopping. This ancient murder queen is getting a makeover. Goodbye."

"Yorozu go with her and try not to kill anyone."

Behind the door, Yorozu's voice carried back. "This... 'shopping' better involve quality silk. No cotton. It scratches."

Utahime massaged her temples. "She just threatened not to kill anyone as if it was an inconvenience!" She turned to Gojo. "This is your fault. You encouraged this."

"well, anyways, there's something I need to do so see ya." he said, disappearing into his shadow and reappearing outside the school

Utahime watched Aiden disappear into the shadows, shaking her head. "He's always doing that. Just vanishing." She turned back to Gojo."And now we're stuck here with Mei trying to shop with Yorozu." She sighed.

Aiden checked his phone, the date displaying October 12th. He knew the Shibuya Incident was just around the corner—October 31st. His expression turned serious as he walked through the bustling streets of Tokyo, blending into the crowd effortlessly thanks to his shadow manipulation abilities. Suddenly a familiar voice called out from behind him.

"Aiden!"

He turned to see Megumi walking toward him, hands in his pockets, looking as stoic as ever. Beside him was his older sister, Tsumiki, who waved shyly.

Megumi raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing out here alone?"

"Just out for a walk."

Megumi studied him for a moment, his dark eyes narrowing suspiciously. "You look like you're up to something."

Tsumiki giggled softly behind her brother. "Megumi, don't be rude. Let him enjoy his walk." She turned to Aiden with a warm smile. "It's good to see you again, Aiden."

"You too how have you been since I healed you, from the coma?"

Tsumiki's expression softened with gratitude. "I've been doing much better, thank you. Megumi's been helping me adjust back to everything." She glanced at her brother affectionately before looking back at Aiden. "I still can't believe you saved me. And healed me from a coma no one else could."

Megumi crossed his arms, his voice low.

Megumi grunted. "Yeah, well. You're still weird. Pulling stunts like that..." He paused, then added quietly, "...thanks."

Tsumiki smiled warmly, patting her brother's arm. "See, Megumi? That's called being polite." She turned back to Aiden. "So, what brings you out today? You seem... preoccupied."

"It's nothing there's just something I need to take care of. Have a good day too." he said leaving.

Megumi narrowed his eyes at Aiden's departure, suspicious of the strange determination in the boy's tone. But Tsumiki just waved, her smile fading as Aiden disappeared into the crowd.

Meanwhile, Aiden navigated the streets, his mind focused. Granny Ogami's Séance technique was legendary—the ability to summon the dead back into the physical realm.

He needed her before the Shibuya Incident. If he could get her grandson first, he could use his Idle Transfiguration to steal her technique before she even used it on Toji. It was risky, but the payoff was enormous.

He found himself outside a small, unassuming shrine in a quiet part of Tokyo. This was where Granny Ogami was said to reside with her grandson.

Aiden approached the shrine cautiously, shadows coiling around his feet. He could sense cursed energy inside—two presences. One ancient and powerful, the other younger but carrying the weight of a curse user.

He took a deep breath and knocked on the door, his mind racing with plans. This was it. The first step to changing the timeline. The door creaked open.

*CRACK.*

The two figures inside crumpled, a boy about eighteen and an old woman with deep wrinkles and traditional robes, both unconscious before they could even react.

Aiden stood over them, a shock of black lightning still clinging to his fist. Black Flash. Even the unconscious forms radiated faint, lingering cursed energy. His shadow Manipulation had ensured the impact was contained within the doorway.

As Aiden's hand glowed with the spectral light of Idle Transfiguration, he felt the intricate structure of Granny Ogami's soul unravel. He navigated the complex pathways of her being, isolating the nucleus of her Cursed Technique: the Séance.

He ripped it away cleanly.

The technique detached from her soul and merged seamlessly into his own, instantly adding *Séance*

Aiden turned away from the shrine, the weight of his new technique settling into his soul. Two more pieces needed to fall into place before Shibuya.

Mimiko and Nanako Hasaba. The twin girls who would feed Yuji two of Sukuna's fingers—and subsequently meet their gruesome end at the hands of the King of Curses.

He moved swiftly through the city, his shadow manipulation allowing him to traverse Tokyo unnoticed. The Hasaba twins were known to frequent a particular high-end shopping district, their obsession with fashion and wealth making them easy to track.

He spotted them immediately. Mimiko and Nanako—identical twin girls, stunningly beautiful with identical outfits. They were shopping aggressively, bags of luxury goods dangling from their arms, giggling and clearly enjoying their wealth.

They were absolutely vital. Without intervention, they would feed Yuji the fingers, trigger Sukuna, and get slaughtered for their arrogance. Aiden moved silently.

Aiden understood their motivation. The Hasaba twins weren't doing this for chaos—they were trying to free Geto's body from Kenjaku's control. They believed they could manipulate Sukuna, use him as a weapon to take down Kenjaku and restore Geto.

They were tragically, fatally wrong.

Aiden stepped into their path in a luxury shopping district.

Mimiko and Nanako froze, their shopping bags slipping from their fingers as they recognized the unmistakable uniform of a jujutsu sorcerer.

"Look at this guy," Nanako sneered, sliding her hand toward her concealed weapon. "Another one of those arrogant jujutsu higher-ups trying to interfere with our plans."

Mimiko nodded viciously. "Get lost, sorcerer."

"Believe it or not I'm actually here to help you."

The twins exchanged skeptical glances, not lowering their guards.

"Help us?" Mimiko laughed mockingly. "A jujutsu sorcerer wants to help us free Geto from that monster's control? Give us one reason to believe you."

Nanako's eyes narrowed dangerously. "You probably want to arrest us. Or worse—kill us before we can complete our mission."

Aiden stood unfazed, his demeanor calm despite their hostility.

"I'm not here to arrest you. And I'm definitely not here to kill you." Aiden's voice was measured, almost too calm. "I know your plan—to free Geto's body. To use Sukuna."

The twins stiffened.

Mimiko's eyes darted to Nanako. "How does he know that?"

"not important what is important is that it won't work."

"Won't work?" Mimiko bristled, her temper flaring. "How dare you talk down to us! We've spent months planning this. Sukuna will do exactly what we tell him to do."

Nanako's hand tightened around her weapon. "We're not afraid of the King of Curses. He's just a curse with a bigger ego."

"you truly don't understand who you're going to go up against do you?" he sighed, snapping his fingers putting up barrier Before they could even react, he punched them both in the gut.

*CRUNCH.*

Aiden's fists landed with brutal precision, his Black Flash-enhanced strikes knocking the air from both twins simultaneously. They collapsed against the barrier wall, gasping and clutching their stomachs.

"Wh-what... are... you..." Nanako wheezed.

Mimiko glared up at him, pain and fury mixing in her eyes. "You... bastard..."

"i'm a special grade sorcerer and Sukuna is also special grade so if I did this to you with these without using any techniques, what do you think is gonna happen you piss off the king of curses."

The twins stared up at him, their arrogance shattered. The pain was sharp, debilitating—and they could see it clearly now. A special grade sorcerer had incapacitated them with pure physical force, no technique needed.

"He'll kill us," Mimiko whispered, fear finally surfacing. "He'll destroy us without hesitation."

Nanako trembled, her earlier bravado completely gone.

Nanako trembled, her earlier bravado completely gone.

"He'll laugh while he does it," Aiden said coldly. "You think you can order Sukuna around? The man who slaughtered entire clans, who reigns supreme over curses? He'll play along just long enough to get what he wants, then peel you apart for your insolence."

The twins whimpered, their earlier confidence completely shattered.

"And Kenjaku won't hesitate to use you as pawns," Aiden continued mercilessly. "You're walking into a slaughterhouse thinking you're the butchers. If you go through with your plan in Shibuya, you die. Painfully. Horrifyingly. And you achieve absolutely nothing."

Mimiko buried her face in her hands, finally grasping the depth of their mistake.

"But if you give me the two fingers, I know you have I will help you free geto."

The twins looked at each other, desperation and fear clear in their eyes. They knew Aiden was telling the truth, that their plan was suicide. But the thought of giving up the fingers, their ticket to freeing Geto.

"You promise?" Mimiko whispered, her voice trembling.

"Swear on your life," Nanako added, glaring suspiciously, though her fear overpowered her defiance. "If we give you these fingers, you *will* help us get Geto back. No tricks. No Jujutsu High bullshit."

Aiden held their gaze, his expression stone-cold serious.

"I swear on my life as a special grade sorcerer," Aiden said, his voice heavy with solemnity. "If you give me the fingers, I will help you free Geto. No tricks, no deception."

Nanako reached into her bag slowly, trembling as she pulled out two preserved fingers wrapped in cloth. She held them out tentatively.

"We... we can't trust you," Mimiko muttered, but her eyes betrayed her. "If you betray us... I'll find a way to kill you myself."

Nanako placed both fingers in Aiden's hands. "Free him,"

Aiden closed his hand around the fingers, feeling their cursed energy pulsing against his palm. He looked up, meeting the twins' terrified yet desperate eyes. He nodded, a silent promise hanging between them. Then, without another word, he turned and melted into the crowd, leaving the shaken twins behind.
