Riley's emotions were a mix of shock and fear. Fear in the sense that, if Skylar could crack the case and discover her real identity, it would only be a matter of time before Mr Marcello discovers it. Maybe she should just withdraw now, go back to her normal, boring life.
"You haven't denied my accusation Riley,"
"What do you want from me?" Riley asked instead. Skylar wouldn't have gone to review her background unless something prompted her.
"I know that the police has been tracking down EG for quite a while now. Allow me to make your job much easier. You remember that man we met in the alley during that bar incident,"
"Alan Becker?"
"His name is actually Alan white,"
"Oh. So what about him. I already know he's connected to the EG,"
"Do you know why he changed his surname?"
"I don't think that's any of my business…"
"Well it is Riley. I've got information you'd love to hear,"
"About his surname?"
"About EG,"
"What's the catch?"
