There was a bit of silence before Nathaniel continued "You know, I didn't really want to enrol Melanie back at Kingswood. But my grandfather is coming soon, it'll be a great excuse to keep her out of his sight"
Riley's eyelids threatened to close as he talked. These D'Oros loved to stress her. First it was Melanie and her ridiculous orders, now it was Mr Marcello…telling her things that didn't concern her. Since when did he start being so chatty?
"I'm telling you this because I want you to keep Melanie safe. I looked into your background and everything seemed honest…well, apart from the gap in your resume.
