After a brief pause,
Alex called Theodore and said,"Hey big bro, please help me!
I want to learn mana manipulation."
After few minutes, Theodore came out, a giant grin on his face.
"Are you sure, lil bro?" asked Theodore.
"Yep, I am ready!
After all, I need to become the ultimate mage!" said Alex as he drank some water.
"Well, I guess I have no choices left.
Okay, so sit down with your legs folded!"
Theodore said as Alex said down,
Just as Theodore had said to.
"Now, meditate!
And while meditation, you would feel something across your body,
Not blood, not lymph!
But rather, a form of energy which,
You would feel as if that energy is what your body is running on!
After you are able to feel it more closer and closer,
You must try to control it with your will!
No need to rush.

For the next few hours,
Theodore saw Alex struggling to control mana,
Always falling on the ground.
But, for one time,
"Hey, why are your eyes open,
Is your meditation complete?" asked Theodore when he saw that,
Alex's eyes we're open.
"Yes big bro, I was able to feel that sensation and control that energy!" said Alex excitedly.
Theodore was not surprised.
The reason was that:
Every person who become either a mage, warrior or anything else,
They could learn this skill within 2 days.
But Theodore was confused because he had thought:
"His strength is not at the minimum threshold to learn it!

However, everything changed when he saw Alex,

Theodore was pleased to train him.

It was unexpected to Alex.
Because he had heard several mages thar meditation is all it takes.
But, after swallowing his saliva,
He said: "I can pass every test to grow stronger!!

However, coming to the point now:
After Alex finished,
Theodore had understood that Alex will learn it, no matter how.
He gave a sigh, then went inside the house.
Inside The House:
"Hey mom, do you know lil bro is asking me to teach him mana manipulation.
And he's telling he will complete the test!" said Theodore to Julie,
Who was combing her hair after bathing.
Julie's eyes widened in disbelief.
She didn't expected him to know about mana manipulation.
Overjoyed, she quickly took off her towel and wore clothes.
She rushed outside and said,"My little guinea pig!

Alex nodded and then,
With a swift move, he came in front of Julie,

But I know basics,

Said Julie as she wiped a drop of sweat from her cheeks.
Alex came forward,
This time, seriousness in his eyes.

But I preferred big bro instead of you because,

Julie's eyes got filled with anger.
Because she had no idea that he would just attack to her only weakness with such good words,

Alex nodded in agreement, apologizing for his insulting behaviour.
But, as a mother, how can she keep a grudge against him for the whole life right?
That's why, she just hugged him back and kissed on his forehead and went inside.
After Few Minutes and Several Seconds:
"So basically, in this test,
You need to just touch an glowing orb which I will take out with your left index finger.
And the orb will just glow with a colour.
Remember: The colours are random.
If it glows with any colour near to the blue hue, it means you are not capable of learning it!
Same goes for the colours of yellow hue.
And if you get colours of either the red hue Or the green hue,
It means that you're capable.
But remember one more thing:
Red colour means you're capable of learning it, but not ready.
But green means you're completely ready.
For blueish colours, you're not capable of it.
For yellowish colours, you can somehow learn it!
Just remember that, okay!" said Theodore as he pat on Alex's shoulders.
"Understood, big bro!
I'm sure you will see a greenish colour!
It's my promise!" said Alex, determination filling his eyes.
"Let's see if you get what you said!" replied Theodore.
The next 15 minutes passed, and after the time,
Alex saw a huge orb on Theodore's arms.
It was bright red coloured, with yellow coloured particles flowing around it.
"So, this is the orb which will test your capabilities!" said Theodore.
