But they would kill the female child!
Which was called as Female Foeticide!
But the reason of preference was still unknown.
Some say it happened so that
The generation after generation of the family would be secured!
And if female child comes, then she would beat the child of another family,
Making the family vulnerable to die!
However, let us come to this world:
Here, there was no such rule that:
Female children would be k*lled in their infant stage and male children would live.
But the preference for having male or female child,
Has a reason.
The reason is simple:
The families where the male member is the head prefer to have a son,
Whereas the families where the female member is the head prefer to have a daughter!
But let me tell you,
Killing of infants or even foetus is illegal all over the world!
So that's why, they can't just k*ll the child but due to preference,
They exchange the children with each other.
(It is for rich families only!)
And the exchanged children,
When they would just become twenty years or older,
They would marry each other!
But the families who exchange with poor section,
Have a rule that the rich families would be responsible for the expense of the poor family!
And since Margaret and Julie were sisters,
There is no doubt that Margaret would give the expenses of Julie's family!
Even if they did not exchanged,
Margaret would still do the same,
In the name of family!
They were such closer to each other.
But Julie just think it as Margaret was showing mercy to them,

Thought Alex as he was distracted by the sudden information the unknown voice provided.
"Let me see, if one rune is fifty bronze coins and there three of them,
So I should select the first one!
But, I am still weak to even defeat the so called 'Dungeon Monsters'!
So yes,
I am selecting the second quest and the third question!" said Alex internally.
