Moon sat on the roof of a broken building inside the Safe Zone. He took out the golden book.

"Yes," Moon whispered.
The book turned into golden light and flew into his head. Instantly, he knew how to move through shadows. He could teleport short distances!
Suddenly, the ground began to shake very hard. It felt like a massive earthquake.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
A scary red siren echoed across the whole camp. The yellow magic bubble that protected them started to crack!

The ground exploded in the middle of the camp. A terrifying, giant monster burst out of the dirt. It was a massive snake, as tall as a building. But it didn't have one head—it had two! Its scales were made of hard, gray rocks, and green poison dripped from its giant teeth.
[Twin-Headed Basilisk (Level 12 Boss)]
Players screamed and started running in every direction.
"Do not run!" Alex yelled loudly, trying to act like a brave leader. He pulled out his starter axe. "I am a B-Rank! Lina, use your ice magic! We will kill it and get rich!"
Lina nodded. She threw a blast of cold ice at the snake. Crack! The ice hit the snake's scales, but it did nothing. The snake was too strong.
The Boss hissed angrily. One of its heads swung down like a giant whip and hit Alex.
BAM!
Alex went flying through the air. His axe broke into pieces, and he crashed into the dirt, groaning in pain. He was defeated in one single second.
"Alex!" Lina screamed. The second snake head opened its mouth, ready to spray deadly green poison all over her. Lina squeezed her eyes shut, crying. She was out of magic. She was going to die.
SWOOSH!
Moon used his new [Shadow Step] skill. He teleported from the roof directly in front of Lina.
Lina opened her eyes and saw the boy in the black scarf standing between her and the giant monster.
"Stay back," Moon said. His voice was disguised, sounding deep and cold.
The Basilisk sprayed its deadly poison!
Moon didn't run. He raised his right hand. He activated his Flaming Fist skill. But because of his [Classless] talent, he pumped it with massive energy. His entire arm lit up with roaring, hot fire.
He punched the air. A massive wave of fire shot out, completely burning the poison away before it could touch them.
The two snake heads roared in anger and dived down to bite him at the same time.
Moon used Shadow Step again. He vanished into thin air. The two giant heads crashed into the ground where he just stood.
Before the snake could look up, Moon appeared in the air right above them. Both of his fists were glowing with explosive fire and the bone-crushing power of Savage Blow.
"Reap," Moon whispered.
He slammed both of his fiery fists down onto the two giant snake heads.
KA-BOOM!
The explosion was so big it shook the whole camp. A shockwave of fire and wind blew everyone backward. The Level 12 Boss Monster was completely crushed. It turned into a massive cloud of red glowing particles that rushed straight into Moon's chest.

When the smoke cleared, Moon stood alone in the crater.
The entire camp was frozen. Alex and Lina stared at him from the dirt. They were shaking with fear and amazement. They had just watched a boy kill a monster that was supposed to take fifty people to beat.
The "Masked Phantom" turned his head slightly, looking down at Alex and Lina for one quiet second. Then, he stepped into a shadow and completely vanished, leaving the camp in absolute shock.
