Chapter 8 - Chapter 7: Introductions

"Hi, I'm Blake" Blake introduced himself to the talking slime. He was slightly surprised to see one, but it felt more fascinating to see in real life. "Blake?" said the slime, who was seemingly testing his ability to speak. "You must have gotten speech quite recently huh?" asked Blake. The slime could only nod as he introduced himself. "My name is Rimuru Tempest, nice to meet you! I'm not a bad slime slurp!" Rimuru, the slime, introduced himself with a quick yet recognizable quip at the end. Blake could only chuckle at the last part, a feeling settling in his mind and decided to test something.

"Have you heard of The One Ring?" asked Blake, trying to fish for something that might seem recognizable. Rimuru eyes, well indentations in the form of eyes, widened at the mention of the One Ring. "One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them. One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them" Rimuru seemingly blurted out as both Blake and Rimuru looked at each other knowingly, each having already confirmed the others existence.

'An Otherworlder!' was Rimuru's thoughts as he finally found a kindred spirit, thought not a fellow countrymen like he hoped, but finding someone similar was good enough for now. "I'm sorry, we got off track. Here are my friends, Diablo and Ddraig" Blake introduced his entourage to the Goblins and Rimuru. "Nice to meet you, I would offer tea but.." Rimuru began and nothing else had to be said. "Its alright, I can get some tea if you dont mind. What tea would you like?" asked Blake. "Green please" asked Rimuru politely as Blake summoned a few bottles of green tea and poured cups for those that were in the building.

Rimuru couldn't exactly taste it, but he had Great Sage describe it to him, savoring the memory in the case he might be able to taste it again. "So, I am here on promise of the first delivery, so is there a place I can set it up?" asked Blake as the Goblins looked at each other. "We have a small place were we keep trinkets of fallen adventures, but we don't know if it will be big enough" said the goblin elder. "Would you mind showing me?" asked Blake as the goblins nodded and began leading the way. Before he left to follow, Blake picked Rimuru up from the ground and took him with them.

As they walked the path, Rimuru was taking the chance to get a good view of the village he arrived in. 'They all seem so scrawny and weak, it looks sad really' Rimuru thought as he even spied some several pregnant goblin females, rubbing their swollen stomachs in a calm way, as if to soothe the baby yet to be more than themselves. Rimuru viewing this only reinforced his own view to help these goblins as much as he was able, and maybe convince the man who was carrying him to help him out. He already seemed like a likeable guy and he didn't even discriminate against goblins like most people would have.

"This is the spot sir" said the goblin elder, showing them a run down shed that held trinkets of a various sorts, mostly weapons and some items taken off adventurers like some gold. "Yeah, this is not big enough" said Blake and the goblin elder looked very scared, as if he was afraid he might loose one of his tribes only good will. "I will have to summon a bigger space, if you don't mind?" asked Blake as the goblin elder quickly responded he didn't mind, his hope reigniting in his eyes. "Hey Rimuru, ready to see this?" asked Blake with a smile as Rimuru nodded, and he was curious on what was going to happen.

"What are you going to do?" asked Rimuru. "I am going to use my special summoning ability" said Blake and Rimuru was hit with a message in his head. [Note, use Great Sage to analyse ability?]. Rimuru thought over his response. 'It seems rude to just do that, but when am I gonna witness something so cool? Hope he wont mind later' he thought as he gave Sage the go ahead and he felt her begin the process of analysation.

Blake then held his hand out as the shed and the objects inside were de-summoned from the world. Before the others could even feel shock and aw, a larger building similar to a warehouse made of wood reinforced with metal was summoned into existence with charms of preservation and extended space. "Here you go, there will be two months worth of supplies, and I am willing to throw in some extra stuff like tools and weapons for you guys to use for combat if need" said Blake as he waved his hand all that he offered was fully inside, preserved similar to a certain item box skill.

Rimuru was staring on in shock, and all he could think in his mind was 'Cheat!'. 'Great Sage, have you analysed it?' asked Rimuru. [Note, unable to fully analyse ability due to its higher caliber, however, I was able to finagle a fraction of the summoning process used. Reconfiguring and refitting, you have aquired summoning magic+]. 'Summoning magic+?' asked Rimuru as the sage responded. [Due to the fact his summoning skill exists on a different plane entirely, I was able to finagle a better version of summoning magic using what little data I had, thus Summoning Magic +].

'What the heck! Maybe Im the cheating one?' thought Rimuru, but he dismissed the thought. 'Though with that ability, he could be a good help in defeating the goblins, and it seemed like the goblins were willing to offer there souls, so it might be a good shot. He seems like a nice guy anyway' thought Rimuru as he turned towards his new found kindred spirit. "Hey Blake, would you consider a request of mind? I know we just met but would you at least hear me out?" asked Rimuru as he jumped out of Blakes arms and turned towards him. "Sure" said Blake as Rimuru began his request. "I would like you to help me protect the goblin village" said Rimuru, offering a bow to show his sincerity, well what he could manage to look like a bow.

"Sure" said Blake, not even needing to think about it. If you can help others, why not do it if your able. "Would you- wait you will?!" Rimuru was beginning to try and convince him to help, but it seemed like his words would not be needed. "Sure, I have the ability to, and you seem like a great person to make friends with, on the count of our shared similarity" Blake Chuckled as Rimuru jumped with joy, as did the goblins who were easedroping on the conversation.

"He really seems like a good kid" commented Ddraig. "He is a kind person, I just hope he knows his limits and who may take advantage of it' said Diablo. "That's our job, to make sure that doesn't happen" smiled Ddriag as Diablo nodded. Their master summoned them, and now it seems their master is all that they care for.
