Loreen's POV
Loreen woke up to a quiet room.
He lay still for a moment and looked at the ceiling. The room was a bit dark, which meant that it was already evening.
They had slept for a long time. Longer than he had planned, though he had not really planned anything.
He had climbed into the bed beside Sairis and pulled him close and the next thing he knew, he had dozed off. His stomach grumbled, making its opinion about the situation very clearly known.
He looked down at the body next to him.
Sairis was still asleep. His face was relaxed and his breathing was even and the colour in his skin was considerably better than it had been that morning. The fever was gone. He looked like himself again, or close enough to it.
Loreen stayed still for another moment. He thought about everything that had happened between sunrise and now.
