Chapter 6: Feelings They Don't Understand
The classroom felt different today.
Not new anymore… but not normal either.
Something had changed.
Swati sat with Aditi, Priyanka, and Poonam.
They were talking, laughing… but not everything was the same.
Somewhere…
Feelings had started growing.
Aditi leaned toward Swati,
"Someone had a special moment yesterday…"
Swati frowned,
"Stop it."
Priyanka smiled quietly.
Meanwhile—
Abhi entered the class.
His eyes automatically searched.
And found—
Swati.
She was laughing.
Talking freely.
But not with him.
His gaze shifted slightly—
To Aditya.
Standing near their bench.
Talking to Priyanka
Something inside Abhi felt… strange.
Uncomfortable.
His inner voice whispered:
"Why are you reacting…?"
Abhi sat down silently.
But his eyes didn't stay still.
At the same time—
Aditya was speaking calmly.
"You should focus more on lectures," he told Aditi.
Aditi rolled her eyes,
"Please don't start your 'elder brother lecture' here."
Lavesh, who had just arrived, laughed,
"I agree with her for once."
Aditi smirked,
"See? Someone understands me."
"Unfortunately," Lavesh replied
Their playful fight continued.
Light. Natural.
But meaningful.
Meanwhile—
Priyanka stood quietly beside them.
Listening.
But not fully
Her attention shifted.
Toward Aditya.
Aditya also noticed her silence.
"You're quiet," he said.
"I usually am," she replied softly.
A small pause.
"I like that," Aditya said.
Priyanka looked at him.
Surprised.
No smile.
No joke.
Just honesty.
Her heart reacted.
Quietly.
At the back—
Poonam looked toward Ayush.
He was laughing again.
Carefree.
Happy.
She took a deep breath.
Maybe today…
She'll talk to him.
But just then—
A girl came and sat beside Ayush.
Talking comfortably.
Laughing with him.
Poonam's smile faded.
Slowly.
Her eyes lowered
At the same time—
Abhi saw Swati talking to Aditya.
Standing close.
Smiling slightly.
His expression changed.
He stood up suddenly.
Walked out of the class.
Swati noticed.
"Where did he go…?" she whispered.
Aditi raised an eyebrow,
"Why? Missing him already?"
Swati ignored her.
But her heart felt uneasy.
Outside the classroom—
Abhi stood alone in the corridor.
Frustrated.
Confused.
His inner voice:
"You don't like seeing her with someone else…"
Abhi closed his eyes.
"Why… does it matter?" he whispered.
Inside the class—
Stories were growing.
Without permission.
Without understanding.
Love.
Jealousy.
Silence.
And one-sided pain.
Everything had begun.
