Everyone was shocked that Captain Yami had actually gone out to gather intelligence.
"That's the situation. Noelle, Asta, on the night of the full moon in seven days, we head to the Underwater Temple to locate the Magic Stone," Yami said.
"Are you really Captain Yami? You're not Grey in disguise, are you?" Finral asked suspiciously.
Yami grabbed him by the neck and lifted him effortlessly. "What do you think?"
I get it now. This suffocating pressure is definitely Captain Yami.
"Alright, remember this. Seven days from now, full moon, meet at the seaside. Magna, come with me. We've got a man's mission."
Everyone understood immediately.
Those two were going gambling.
Cedric lay under a large tree, a glass of fresh juice in hand, enjoying the breeze.
"Mr. Cedric, that Golden Dawn Four-Eyes is here again," Noelle said, walking over and handing him another drink.
"Asta, stop swinging your sword. We've got business," Klaus called out.
"Today we finally settle this. Golden Dawn will send Mimosa and me. What about you?"
"Asta and Grey," Cedric replied lazily.
"Um, shouldn't Yuno be playing?" Asta asked.
Yuno felt a surge of emotion.
Asta... you really do think of me as your rival.
"No, Yuno hasn't been feeling well," Klaus said flatly.
You're lying. I'm perfectly fine, you bastard.
"Fine, how are we playing?" Asta asked.
"2v2. First to 15 points. I explained this yesterday."
"I forgot. Explain it again."
Mimosa and Yuno both struggled not to laugh.
After another hour of explanation, the match finally began.
"Asta, watch this! My serve is extremely fast!"
Klaus launched the ball with full force.
Asta had already moved into position.
"With all my strength!"
He smashed the ball.
The volleyball shot forward like a cannon, trailing force as it flew straight toward Klaus's face.
Too fast.
That was Klaus's final thought before impact.
He was sent flying across the sand, his glasses shattering instantly.
Yuno covered his mouth, trying not to laugh.
Mimosa blinked in shock.
That strength... how can someone so small hit that hard?
"Ahhh! Big Brother Cedric, did I kill him?" Asta panicked.
"It's fine. Go back to training. I'll handle it," Cedric said calmly.
Klaus lay there with a swollen face and missing teeth.
Cedric casually took out some bread and shoved it into Klaus's mouth.
"Done. Treatment complete."
Mimosa was horrified.
You call that treatment?
She immediately cast Plant Magic: Dream-Healing Flower Basket, restoring Klaus's injuries.
The next few days passed peacefully.
Klaus never showed his face again.
Seven days later, under a glowing full moon, the Black Bulls gathered at the shore.
"Noelle, prepare your magic. Let's go."

A massive sphere of water carried them into the ocean.
After passing through powerful currents, a glowing barrier appeared.
"The Underwater Temple is inside. Kid, you're up," Yami said, patting Asta.
"I... I can't swim!" Asta panicked.
"You don't need to."
Yami grabbed him and threw him forward.
Asta swung his sword, slicing open the barrier.
He crashed inside.
"I can't breathe!" Asta clutched his throat.
"You idiot, start breathing," Magna kicked him.
"Huh? I can breathe?"
Looking at Asta, Cedric couldn't help but sigh.
Sometimes I really don't understand this guy.
The group looked around.
Ancient buildings filled the underwater space.
"People live here?" Magna asked.
A group of residents approached.
"Outsiders? Are you Magic Knights?"
"You know about us?" Yami asked.
"The High Priest allows us to go to the surface occasionally."
Soon, a crowd gathered, staring at them curiously.
Cedric felt like they were being treated like animals in a zoo.
"Do you know about Magic Stones?" Yami asked.
"No. Only the High Priest might know."
"Where is he?"
They pointed toward the tallest building.
"That's where he lives. But... are you sure you want to go?"
"Of course."
The group entered.
Behind them, the villagers watched silently.
I hope they survive.
Inside, a white-bearded old man appeared.
"Welcome to the Underwater Temple! If you want the Magic Stone, you must play a game!"
"What game?" Yami asked.
The High Priest glanced at Noelle and Vanessa with a mischievous grin. "A very interesting one."
Yami instantly placed his katana on the man's head. "Try that again."
"Just kidding! The game is the Underwater Temple Battle Royale!"
Game Magic: Underwater Temple Grand Transformation
Nine masked priests appeared.
"I will scatter all of you across the ruins. The last one standing wins. And I will grant one wish."
"5... 4..."
"Wait, explain properly!" Magna shouted.
"3... 2... 1!"
Space warped, and everyone vanished.
Cedric and Yami remained.
"You two, join me. Let's enjoy some food while we watch," the High Priest said nervously.
They entered a private room filled with food and mirrors showing the battlefield.
Yami grinned. "Not bad, old man."
"But why didn't you send this kid in?" he asked, glancing at Cedric.
The High Priest forced a smile.
Because I can't.
"To keep things fair," he said.
Cedric leaned back on the sofa, sipping his drink.
Nice view, good food, and a live show.
Not a bad deal.
The High Priest wiped sweat from his forehead.
That boy's magic... it's abnormal.
"Hey, can you hear me?" his voice echoed across the battlefield. "The Underwater Temple Battle Royale has begun! Nine versus nine!"
"Do your best, my little priests!"
Yami poured him a drink. "Let's enjoy this."
"By the way, what level are your subordinates?" the High Priest asked carefully.
"They're all Junior Magic Knights."
Junior?
The weakest of my priests are at least Intermediate level.
He stared at the screen, suddenly uneasy.
I hope this doesn't end too quickly.
