After some time, Cedric confirmed that Rebecca's magic had indeed improved.

After leaving, Cedric returned to base and began thinking.
Should I target Asta, or Vanessa? Or take advantage of the situation and strike the Witch Queen directly?

Licht's expression stiffened.

After settling Sally in, Cedric headed to Mariella's room.
As soon as he opened the door, the entire space was filled with dense mist.
Mariella was nowhere to be seen.
Cedric's expression changed slightly.

He turned instantly, his eyes locking onto the figure clinging to the ceiling.
