"Wizard King, urgent report. The Diamond Kingdom has launched an attack on Kiten."
Marx appeared through the magic transmission.
"Mushroom head."
"You are the mushroom head," Marx snapped before continuing.
"The Diamond Kingdom has deployed three of the Eight Shining Generals: Broccos of the Ochre Boar, Lakas of the Thunderbird, and Yagos of the Slime Snail."
"There are also over a hundred mages."
"Our strongest Magic Knight squad, the Golden Dawn, has already been dispatched. Captain Vangeance is on the scene."
Julius's eyes sparkled. "Marx, can I go observe the battle and study their magic?"
Marx stared at him blankly. "Absolutely not."

"Where am I?"
Kahono rubbed her head, recalling the last thing she saw, Noelle.
Looking around, she cautiously took out her grimoire.
This is not the Underwater Temple. How did I get here?
The door opened with a click.
A black-haired woman entered, carrying a tray of food.
"You are awake. Eat."
"Who are you? Where is this? Why am I here? Did you kidnap me because I am beautiful?"
"Mariella."
The woman placed the tray down and left without another word.
Song Magic: Rhythm of Destruction
Kahono blasted the door open and stepped outside, only to find a massive structure filled with countless rooms.
"Is everyone here captured like me?"
Thinking that strength lay in numbers, Kahono began breaking open doors one after another. By the time her mana was depleted, she realized the place was completely empty.
Not even a bird.
A hand suddenly rested on her shoulder.
"Would it not be better to eat first? That food is getting cold."
Kahono slowly turned her head and saw Cedric standing behind her.
"No, let me go."
"Do not struggle. You would not want me to get rough, would you?"
"I knew it. You are after my beauty. I will never submit."
Cedric smirked and stepped closer, his gaze deliberately lingering over her figure. "You have some confidence. I like that. Makes it more fun."
"I can give you money."
"How much?"
Kahono froze for a moment, then immediately shook her head. "Wait, that is not the point. I will never obey you. Give up, you trash."
"Then do not blame me." Cedric leaned in closer, his voice dropping slightly. "I keep plenty of wild beasts downstairs. And I also have this."
He held up a bottle filled with crimson liquid.
"What is that?"
"A very strong aphrodisiac. If you refuse, I will just toss you to the beasts. I am merciful like that."
Kahono's face turned pale as her legs gave out beneath her.
"You demon. My grandfather and the others will never let you go."
"That is a future problem." Cedric crouched slightly, lifting her chin with his fingers. "Right now, you have two choices. Go downstairs or come with me."
After a long silence, Kahono finally spoke.
"I will go with you."
She clenched her fists internally.
I will pretend to submit for now and find a chance to escape later.
Cedric chuckled softly, clearly seeing through her act but playing along anyway. "Good girl. Stay obedient and I might even treat you gently."
Kahono glared at him but said nothing, following behind him cautiously.
"Alright, we are here."
As the door opened, three more people were already inside.
Kahono's fear deepened instantly.
