Chapter 26: Wedding Preparations and Training
The evening slowly spread its golden blanket across the earth. A cool breeze brushed through the trees, creating a peaceful whisper among the leaves. In that pleasant atmosphere, Obito, Wang, and Jim set off together toward Jim's house.
A few moments later, they arrived at the front door.
Jim opened the door with a warm smile.
Obito and Wang followed him inside.
As soon as they entered the living room, they saw Nira, Hinata, and Rin already waiting for them. Everyone greeted one another warmly, and within moments, the room was filled with laughter, happiness, and a sense of family.
They all settled comfortably onto the sofas.
After chatting casually for a while, Obito's expression suddenly turned serious.
Looking at Jim and Nira, he spoke in a calm voice.
"Jim... Nira... Today, I want to thank both of you from the bottom of my heart."
The room fell silent.
"The love, care, and responsibility with which you looked after our son... is a kindness we will never forget."
Rin smiled gently and continued.
"That's true... You both loved Wang as if he were your own son. As a mother, I am truly grateful to both of you."
Jim and Nira exchanged smiles.
Nira replied softly,
"There's no need to thank us."
She looked at Wang before continuing,
"After all, he is going to become our daughter's husband."
"He is not just your son... From today onward, he is our son as well."
Hearing those words, smiles spread across everyone's faces, while Wang lowered his head slightly, blushing in silence.
A few moments later, Obito took a deep breath.
"But... now there's something important you all need to know."
Everyone immediately turned their attention toward him.
"All the wedding preparations will now be handled by both of you... along with Rin's parents."
Jim looked surprised.
"And what about you?"
Obito looked at Wang.
His voice became firmer than before.
"Before Wang's wedding, one final trial still remains."
"He must gain complete mastery over the Air Element."
"It is not merely a power... It is the foundation of his life, his protection, and his future."
"That is why, during the next six days, Rin and I will devote all of our attention solely to his training."
Obito paused briefly before continuing.
"The true training of the Natural Elements cannot be taught by just anyone."
"Only my father... the King... and I possess the knowledge to teach the Natural Elements."
He then turned toward Jim.
"And Jim..."
"Once again, I want to thank you."
"Wang's current physical strength, speed, endurance, and combat abilities are the result of your years of hard work."
Jim chuckled softly.
"Friends don't thank each other, Obito."
"I'm just happy that I could do something for Wang."
Suddenly, something came to his mind.
"By the way... You still haven't told us..."
"When are the King and Queen arriving?"
A gentle smile appeared on Obito's face.
"They will arrive on Planet Earth three days before the wedding."
"They personally wish to attend their grandson's wedding."
The moment everyone heard the news, their faces lit up with excitement and joy.
For quite some time afterward, they continued discussing the wedding preparations, the guests, the ceremonies, and the plans for the coming days.
Time passed quickly.
Eventually, Obito, Rin, and Wang said their goodbyes and returned home.
That Night...
The silence of the night covered the entire house.
In the distance, the soft chirping of crickets made the peaceful night seem even deeper.
As soon as they arrived home, Wang started walking toward his room when a firm voice echoed behind him.
"Wang!"
He stopped immediately.
"Yes, Dad?"
Obito slowly walked over to him.
Placing a hand gently on Wang's shoulder, he said,
"My son..."
"Get a good night's rest."
"Because after today, the next six days will be the hardest days of your entire life."
Wang quietly looked into his father's eyes.
In a serious tone, Obito continued,
"Tomorrow morning, the second... and final phase of your Air Element Training will begin."
"But this time, your training won't take place in an ordinary field."
"It will take place inside your grandfather's advanced laboratory."
Rin smiled.
"My father has built highly advanced machines, training systems, and protective technology there—technology that exists nowhere else in the world."
"There, you'll be able to test your powers freely without putting anyone in danger."
Obito looked directly into Wang's eyes.
"I will be with you every step of the way."
"And the day you achieve complete mastery over the Air Element..."
"Your grandfather... the King... will personally begin teaching you the true mastery of all the remaining Natural Elements."
The determination shining in Wang's eyes became brighter than ever.
He clenched his fist tightly.
"I'm ready, Dad."
Obito smiled, but the strictness of a true master was clearly visible in his eyes.
"Tomorrow..."
"Your real trial begins."
"Only six days..."
"And within those six days, you must do more than simply understand the Air Element..."
"...You must make it obey your will."
Wang silently nodded.
He could feel that the greatest challenge of his life now stood before him.
The night was silent...
But hidden within that silence was the unmistakable beginning of a new journey, a new power, and a great trial.
