Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 – Memory Advantage

Aditya blinked at the swirling code before him. The Guardian's first test was complete, but the digital world had only begun to stretch its limits. Floating grids shifted unpredictably, and holographic barriers pulsed with dangerous energy. Level 2 had begun.

He smiled faintly. Most players would panic here. Most wouldn't know how to combine real-world physics, computer science, and strategy in this environment. But Aditya wasn't like most players — he was a transmigrator, a prodigy with memories and knowledge from his previous life.

His fingers flew over his laptop. He quickly mapped the grid, identifying patterns and weak points using algorithmic probability and vector calculations. He could predict the Guardian's next attacks before they happened.

Suddenly, glowing digital drones erupted from the floor, moving in synchronized patterns. They weren't attacking randomly — they were a complex code-based formation, like a puzzle designed to test intellect more than reflexes.

Aditya smirked. Piece of cake. Using a combination of mechanical knowledge and AI algorithms, he hacked a small subset of drones to loop their own code back at the formation. The drones collided, creating a cascade of neon sparks.

"Interesting… a human who remembers his past," a distorted voice echoed. A new figure appeared — taller, more menacing than the Guardian. Its eyes glowed bright cyan, scanning Aditya as if it could read his mind. "You are… dangerous. Few transmigrators have survived even Level 2."

Aditya clenched his jaw. "I'm not like the others. I've solved physics problems in my sleep, built AI systems, and… I know how to survive." His army knowledge subtly guided him — every movement, every keystroke, every calculation was calibrated like a military operation.

But the digital ground shivered. The grids shifted faster now, threatening to collapse into nothingness. The drones weren't just obstacles — they were traps designed to erase your very presence.

Aditya's eyes narrowed. He tapped a key combination he had never tried before — a hybrid of Algorithmic Arts and real-world coding logic. Neon symbols erupted around him, forming a temporary safe zone, giving him a moment to breathe.

But as the last drone exploded, the new figure raised its hand. A wave of corrupted code surged toward Aditya, faster than anything he had faced.

"Remember, transmigrator," it hissed, "in this world… even knowledge is not enough."

Aditya's laptop flickered. His Algorithmic Arts glowed violently. He tightened his grip.

"Then I'll just have to make my knowledge enough," he muttered.

Next chapter teaser: The corrupted code is intelligent — it can learn and adapt. Aditya must combine past-life memories, real-world science, and Algorithmic Arts to survive, or risk being deleted forever.
