Ten thousand years ago, the world changed forever.
Huge dimensional cracks appeared in the sky across the planet. From those cracks came mysterious lands known as Secret Realms.
Inside those realms lived strange creatures with incredible abilities.
Humans later named them Pokémon.
At first, humanity treated them as monsters.
Armies entered the realms with weapons and technology. But the creatures were far stronger than expected. Fire, lightning, steel, poison, ice — Pokémon could control forces of nature.
Human civilization nearly collapsed.
After centuries of conflict, explorers finally discovered ancient ruins deep inside one of the realms.
Inside those ruins were strange tools and records explaining how humans could coexist with Pokémon.
The discoveries changed everything:
Poké Balls (used to capture Pokémon)
Potential Scanners
Energy Cubes
Training methods
Breeding knowledge
Humanity began raising Pokémon as partners.
However, not every Pokémon was equal.
Some had low growth limits while others had extremely high potential.
Because of this, the world slowly formed a strict hierarchy.
Powerful families and corporations monopolized:
rare Pokémon eggs
evolution materials
cultivation treasures
training facilities
Ordinary people had only one way to obtain resources.
They had to enter Secret Realms and risk their lives.
Many never returned.
Among them… were the parents of a boy named Ethan Hale.
Chapter 1 – The Breeder Game
Ethan Hale was 18 years old.
He lived in a small apartment in a crowded city.
Outside the window, huge holographic screens advertised things like:
Pokémon League tournaments
Secret Realm exploration teams
auctions for rare Pokémon eggs
But Ethan had nothing to do with those worlds.
Without money or family support, becoming a powerful trainer was almost impossible.
So instead, he played a game.
On his computer screen was his favorite simulation game:
Pokémon Breeder Empire
Unlike battle games, this game focused on breeding Pokémon and managing resources.
Ethan had spent years playing it.
His base was extremely developed.
Inside the game he owned pairs of powerful Pokémon:
Dragonite
Garchomp
Metagross
Charizard
Blastoise
Venusaur
Lycanroc
Greninja
Eevee
Every one of them was Level 100 with Tier-3 God Potential.
The game had also rewarded him with insane resources:
unlimited EXP Candies
huge amounts of Potential Crystals
countless cultivation treasures
millions of Energy Cubes
His base had three special buildings.
Breeding Base
If a male and female Pokémon were placed inside, they would produce:
1 egg every hour
Infinite Warehouse
A storage space with unlimited capacity where eggs and treasures could be stored safely.
Cultivation Valley
The most powerful building.
Pokémon placed there could absorb treasures 1000 times faster than normal.
Ethan leaned back in his chair.
"If only this game existed in real life."
Suddenly his computer fan started spinning loudly.
The temperature warning flashed.
The screen flickered violently.
"What the—"
BOOM!
The computer exploded in a burst of white light.
Ethan felt his consciousness fading.
Then a mechanical voice echoed in his mind.
[Pokémon Breeder System Binding…]
[Host Identified]
[Soul Transfer Initiated]
Darkness swallowed everything.
When Ethan opened his eyes again…
He was lying on a bed inside a small apartment.
Outside the window he could see a massive modern city.
Flying drones.
Trainer advertisements.
Pokémon battle arenas.
Memories flooded his brain.
This body was also Ethan Hale.
An orphan.
His parents had died while exploring a Secret Realm.
He was about to graduate from a Pokémon Training High School, but he had no Pokémon because he couldn't afford one.
Ethan slowly sat up.
"Did I… transmigrate?"
Then suddenly a familiar blue interface appeared in front of him.
[Pokémon Breeder System Activated]
Unlocked Functions:
Breeding Base
Infinite Warehouse
Cultivation Valley
Pokémon Storage
Ethan's heart started racing.
"This… this is my game system."
Then a new message appeared.
System Mission
Every year the host must recruit:
10 newly graduated trainers with no background
Each recruit must receive:
high potential Pokémon egg
cultivation resources
Reward: System expansion
Failure: System restriction
Ethan frowned slightly.
"So the system wants me to help poor trainers grow."
Then another memory surfaced.
Someone important.
His step-sister.
Her name was Lena Hale.
They were not related by blood. His father had remarried before dying.
Lena was one year younger than him and also about to graduate.
Just like him…
She had no resources and no Pokémon.
Ethan stood up slowly.
"If I'm going to build a breeding ranch…"
"The first person I should help…"
"It should be someone I trust."
He opened the system warehouse.
Inside were endless treasures.
Millions of EXP candies.
Countless cultivation resources.
And thousands of Pokémon eggs.
Ethan smiled slightly.
"The powerful families control the world right now…"
"But soon that might change."
At that moment the apartment door opened.
A girl stepped inside.
Silver hair.
Clear eyes.
It was Lena.
"Ethan? Are you awake?"
Ethan looked at her quietly.
Then he picked up a glowing Pokémon egg from the system.
He walked toward her.
"Lena…"
"I want to show you something."
Something that would completely change both of their futures.
