"Where do Katrina and Spissos usually hang out?" Kai asked without looking.
His eyes kept scanning the outside through the wooden door, making sure that there were no incomings. Even though he wanted to use the Black Starfall Imprint to scan the area, Kai was afraid that the academy grounds were equipped with mana detection.
It would be better to play it safe and use the natural tools given by the Gods—eyes.
"Spissos mostly spent his time in the main academy building, while Katrina… She's random."
"Okay."
Finding Katrina would be a gamble.
Kai could get lucky and find her right away, or he could get unlucky—and couldn't find her at all. But he wasn't worried; even if he couldn't find her for hours, he could certainly find her once night fell.
Either way, it would only be a matter of time.
