Kai was pleased with how the Steel Pellets worked.
It was only a grade-1 enchanted weapon, but the size and utility made it an incredible weapon that could easily catch anyone off guard. Most people would use traditional weapons as they provided the most convenience.
Firearms could be infused with mana, but it would be costly.
Making mana-compatible bullets while battling would drain a Supernal's reserve fast. Even if one used ordinary bullets and then enchanted them with mana to greatly reduce the bloated cost of firing a firearm, that too would prove impossible.
Finding a steady supply of bullets in the First Sky would be extremely hard.
Perhaps it would be easier in the Second Sky, as the military was stationed there.
Regardless, firearms aren't ideal for Supernals because of their inconvenience.
