After the Battle
The giant mecha slowly opened its cockpit.
John, the ten soldiers, the human king, and Jessica stepped out safely. The battlefield was quiet now. Smoke drifted through the air, and the defeated alliance army had already retreated.
John immediately activated his communication device.
"Command, this is John. Send one hundred soldiers. We need containment teams."
The reply came quickly.
"Understood. Reinforcements arriving."
Not long after, one hundred Dhuman soldiers arrived through the portal.
Their mission was clear.
They carefully captured the three dragons that had been defeated earlier:
the Red Dragon
the Blue Dragon
the Green Dragon
Special containment equipment was used to secure the massive creatures.
Meanwhile, the damaged mecha transformed back into tank mode and was moved away from the battlefield for repairs.
The human king ordered his guards to arrest the remaining alliance nobles and commanders who had been captured during the battle.
For the first time in many months, the war had stopped.
One Week Later
One week passed.
The battlefield was now quiet, and the kingdom slowly began rebuilding.
Inside the royal castle, an important meeting was about to begin.
The Elf Queen had finally awakened.
The human king stood beside John and the original ten Dhuman soldiers.
Jessica stood nearby, watching carefully.
Several human nobles were also present.
The guards opened the chamber doors.
The Elf Queen was brought inside under heavy watch.
Everyone in the room knew this conversation would decide the future of the war.
John stepped forward calmly.
The king looked at the queen and said:
"Yes… it's time we talk."
The room fell silent.
The fate of the kingdoms now depended on what would be said next.
The Queen's Confession
The throne hall was silent.
The Elf Queen stood in chains, surrounded by guards.
John, the human king, Jessica, and the ten Dhuman soldiers watched her carefully.
John stepped forward.
"Tell us the truth," he said calmly.
"Why did you start this war against humans?"
The Elf Queen smiled coldly.
"You really want to know?"
She looked around the room before answering.
"I believed that one day the humans would become too powerful. I thought they would dominate every kingdom."
The human king frowned.
"So you started a war because of fear?"
The Queen shook her head slightly.
"Not only fear. Hatred."
Her eyes darkened.
"I hated humans."
The room grew tense.
"So I made a deal," she continued.
"With the Demon Queen."
Several guards stepped back in shock.
The Queen laughed softly.
"Yes… that surprised you, didn't it?"
She continued speaking.
"I am beautiful, intelligent, and persuasive. It was easy for me to fool the other races."
She glanced toward the imprisoned alliance leaders.
"I manipulated the elves, the orcs, the dwarves, and the beastfolk. I turned them into my puppets."
The human king clenched his fists.
"You sacrificed thousands of lives for your hatred."
The Queen looked completely calm.
"I would have destroyed the human kingdom eventually."
Then she looked directly at John.
"But you and your strange soldiers appeared."
Her smile slowly returned.
"You may think you've won."
"But don't celebrate too early."
Her voice became quiet.
"The Demon Queen will come soon."
A heavy silence filled the throne room.
John stared at her for a moment.
Then he answered calmly.
"Good."
Everyone looked at him.
John crossed his arms.
"If the Demon Queen wants to come…"
He looked directly into the Queen's eyes.
"Then we'll be ready."
The war might have ended.
But something far more dangerous was now approaching.
Be continued…
