"I'm sorry sister, I have always eaten with Emma, and I forgot you came with me to school today,after all your mom got married to my father few days ago so I'm still not used to you being around. Can you forgive me?", Angela said in slightly trembling tone as if she was scared of Juliet.
The eyes of the students changed again as they whispered among themselves.
"She's a stepsister and she's already bossing the real daughter around" one student said with disdain.
"Exactly, look at how scared the girl look, I'm sure she's being bullied at home", another said looking at Angela with pity.
'This damn bitch, I wanted to make her look like a bully in front of the whole school but she made me look like the bully', Juliet thought with fury burning inside her. She didn't know what to say, she could only force a smile and ask Angela
"Can we go to the cafeteria now?"
"Sure let's go", Angela said with a wide smile which Juliet wished she could rip off her face.
Angela recalled how Juliet usually use this trick in her previous life to make all the students in the school hate and isolate her. She will never allow this to happen again, she will rather let Juliet experience the same kind of feeling.
Unknown to Angela, a pair of eyes have been watching her the whole time. Xavier looked at Angela with his mysterious blue eyes and chuckled, "this girl is so interesting ", he muttered to himself and was suddenly curious about Angela.
Unaware of all this, Angela wrapped an arm around Emma's shoulder as they walked towards the cafeteria with Juliet trailing behind them as she glared at them secretly.
"Go get a seat, I'll bring our food", Emma said to Angela completely ignoring Juliet. Angela nodded and started walking towards the seats then as if suddenly remembering Juliet,
"I'm sorry sister, I'm not feeling well so Emma will be getting me my food,you can follow her to get yours", Angela said to her with a gentle smile plastered on her face.
Juliet simply nodded and followed Emma to get her food, she was so angry that she didn't want to talk. Angela let out a light laugh when she saw how Juliet was trying to control herself from exploding. 'How could I be so stupid in my previous life', she thought as she looked at the back of Juliet.
Since Juliet was still young, she doesn't have much control of her expressions so she would still expose herself sometimes. 'A smart person would have seen the signs but because I was so gullible,I didn't see them', Angela sighed feeling pity for her old self.
Emma soon came back with the food followed by Juliet who was unusually quiet. 'I guess she's plotting another scheme', Angela thought stealing a glance at her.
They went back to class after their meal and spent the rest of the day studying. The bell rang for the end of school and Angela packed up her stuff with Emma beside her as they walked towards the school gate.
"Sister wait for me", Juliet shouted behind her which made Emma roll her eyes and said to Angela "this sister of yours is so dramatic, does she think we're acting some drama?", she said with annoyance.
"Puff!" Angela couldn't control her laughter.
"See you tomorrow", Angela said hugging Emma as they got to the gate where a Rolls Royce was waiting. The driver got down to open the car door the moment he saw her coming.
"Young miss, please", he gestured with his hand towards the car in which Angela smiled and entered with Juliet following her in. The car slowly drove to the Thorne estate.
