Angela remembered her mom once told her
"if there comes a day when you are running away from danger,never look back otherwise you might trip and fall", so she kept running, she didn't even stop when her shoes fell off, even when her bare feet hurt from stones piercing them, the pain from her feet couldn't compare to her will to survive.
She had received an anonymous message on her phone which told her to go to an abandoned building in the outskirts of the city if she wanted to know who was behind the death of her best friend,Emma. Her instincts told her not to go and that it might be a trap but her curiosity got the better of her and she decided to go.
But reality proved that she should have listened to her instincts as it was indeed a trap,when she got there, she was immediately captured by five men, "who are you and what do you want?", she screamed in terror as she questioned them. One of them laughed obscenely, "beautiful girl, don't blame us,we were just paid to have fun with you", her hands and feet went cold, "please.... please don't hurt me", she pleaded with them, they all laughed and another one said "don't worry,we won't hurt you, we'll make you feel like a woman and make you famous", they all burst into laughter.
That's when she noticed another one setting up a camera. She was filled with terror and she started screaming on top of her lungs which landed her a slap, "shut up,no one will help you", the man grimaced. She knew there was no way out so bit her tongue in order to commit suicide which scared the men, "shit, she's trying to commit suicide,what should we do? we were asked to have fun with her but not for her to die" one man screamed. "Shut up,you think I don't know that?", another man who looked like the leader growled. They started arguing and Angela who was still conscious took the opportunity to escape and they gave her a chase when they realized it.
It was dark outside and she didn't know where she was going but she kept running with the men trailing closely behind her,she run until her feet started bleeding after loosing her shoes but she didn't stop for she knows what will happen if she got caught by them. Then she saw a car coming which filled her with hope so she run towards it and kept waving her arms, trying to ask for help. The car started slowing down when it was getting closer which made her eyes light up with hope and joy. All of sudden, the car accelerated and knocked her down before she had time to react. It then reversed a run over her legs making her scream in pain. She didn't understand what was going and why the car knocked her down,she try dragging her body but she couldn't because her whole body was aching.
She was in so much pain that she couldn't even cry,she kept vomiting blood. With her consciousness slipping away,she heard a clicking of high heels with a familiar laughter accompanied by a sickly sweet voice she knew so well "oh my dear sister, you don't know how long I've waited for this day, to trample you under my feet,look at how pathetic you look just like how your mother looked when she was taking her last breath" Angela eyes quickly widen with shock and confusion "why,what have I ever done to you", Angela asked her in pain and confusion, she had loved and treated her like her own sister,she doesn't understand why she'll hurt her like this and why is her eyes filled with so much hatred for her.
