She felt incredibly relaxed. Even though the anesthetic had worn off, she didn't feel any pain at all.
She ran her hands over the incision on her abdomen.
She discovered that the incision had already healed.
She knew that three Healers had just been using all their might to treat her with their Superpowers.
With the Healers present, her blood loss had been minimal.
But the recovery of her internal wounds and the disappearance of her weakness only began after she drank that potion.
There were no post-operative side effects whatsoever.
Vera Coleman even wondered if she had really given birth to two little lives.
"How are you feeling?"
Nina Jacobs asked.
Daniel Hale was holding Vera Coleman's hand, silently wiping away tears.
He saw Vera Coleman smiling.
But he thought she must be forcing a smile.
"Just like you said, I'm feeling great."
