"Though, if you're a certified gold digger, you can always marry him. He'll not run out of his money even if the world collapses. I'd say that's a big bargain, right?" Anok joked around, and I shuddered in response.
"I-I don't think Ray wants to get married to anyone at this point—well, he… uh… he said that he's in love with a woman, but that woman dumped him and then married someone else," I didn't want to tell Anok about Ray's wet dream. As bad as our relationship got, I knew that he wanted to keep his dignity in front of Anok—his frenemy. "It's a pity. He was so upset when he talked about it with me."
Anok raised her brow. She tilted her head slightly and asked, "Really? This is the first time I've ever heard of that."
"Y-yeah, it's my first time too," I added.
"Hmmm…" Anok curled her lips and chuckled. "Do you think he should start chasing his beloved woman then?"
