Faye Lowell glared at her. "Don't you try any tricks on me."
"Cut the crap. You're the one who can't act. You've messed up the scene so many times, and everyone's watching."
"Action!"
Rosalind Lowell raised her hand and slapped Faye Lowell square across the face. Faye, completely stunned by the blow, clutched her stinging cheek as her eyes began to redden.
"What are you doing?" Faye shouted.
"I just want to get off work sooner. I was just giving you a hand," Rosalind said nonchalantly.
At that moment, the director's voice rang out. "Winnie Lowell, keep going! What are you stopping for?"
"Director, she's using this as an excuse for personal revenge!" Faye leaped up and protested.
"Your reaction just now was perfect, wasn't it? If she hadn't slapped you, how many more takes would we need?"
"Weren't we supposed to fake it?" Faye demanded. "Look at my face! How am I supposed to keep filming?"
