Rosalind Lowell let out a chuckle at Crystal Davenport's adorable expression. "What's going on in that little head of yours?"
"I'm thinking about how Crystal has to protect Mommy and help Mommy get them back."
"In that case, I'd better not trouble my little treasure."
Alaric Davenport looked at her and said, "We have an important guest coming today."
"Who is it?"
"They'll be here any minute. Let Dad take these two to go play."
As if he already knew, Dexter Davenport, having finished his meal, stood up and led the two children away.
"Mr. Davenport, I'm here. Mrs. Davenport, long time no see."
Rosalind Lowell turned and saw it was Rhoda Sterling. She quickly started to stand, but Rhoda stopped her. "Mrs. Davenport, there's no need for such formalities."
Rosalind smiled back at her. All these years, Rhoda had continued to use her photos in the campaign for their lead spokesperson. Even though Rosalind had been away for so long, the ads were surprisingly never taken down.
