"It's fine." She wanted to stay, but judging by their expressions, she knew she wasn't welcome. She got up and left.
Rosalind Lowell watched the two of them go and breathed a sigh of relief.
"What are you so nervous about?" Alaric Davenport asked, noticing her subtle expression.
"Am I nervous?" Rosalind Lowell blinked at him, then paused for a moment before adding, "Actually, now that I'm back, I want to pursue acting."
"Of course," Alaric Davenport replied without a moment's hesitation.
She was a little surprised. "You agreed that quickly?"
"I'll support anything you want to do, as long as you're safe."
Rosalind Lowell nodded. 'I could try contacting my old teacher, Timothy Archer,' she thought. 'He did say I could get in touch with him anytime, and he could help me look over some of the latest scripts.'
"Have you forgotten about the director I recommended to Michael? He's very impressed with you. I can set something up."
