Rosalind Lowell looked at Aurora Ainsworth. Seeing her innocent smile, she knew she was just here for the show.
"So, is this a 'social obligation'?"
Aurora Ainsworth's eyes sparkled. "Of course it is. But it's an hour from now."
Rosalind Lowell put a hand to her forehead. "Alright, shall we go in?"
Inside, Jessica Sutton and Faye Lowell hadn't arrived yet. Only Skylar Morrison, Keith Thorne, and Don Lowell were seated.
The three of them sat down at the table.
Keith Thorne draped an arm over Don Lowell's shoulder. "Not bad. Hitting the jackpot on the first try."
Don Lowell's expression was grim. He nudged Keith Thorne with his elbow. "Shut up."
Keith Thorne raised an eyebrow. "I was there that day, heard the whole thing. I was about to freeze to death out there, and then, damn, I hear you two going at it hot and heavy. Woke me right up."
"How are you planning to handle this?"
Skylar Morrison asked, looking at Don Lowell.
