Don Lowell's back stiffened. He turned to Jessica Sutton and immediately started to explain, "Jessica, I... well... actually..."
"Don't you start flinging mud!" Jessica Sutton cut in, unable to bear listening to Don Lowell stammer. "Someone like you... even if you really are pregnant, who's to say it isn't some random bastard?"
"'Random bastard...'" Faye Lowell let out a loud laugh, pointing her index finger straight at Don Lowell. "Why don't you ask him if the 'random bastard' in my belly is his?"
Seeing how adamant Faye Lowell was, Jessica Sutton started to have her doubts. At first, she hadn't believed it. After all, Don Lowell had always been her lapdog; how could he possibly betray her?
