Watching Shi Li as she slept, the others began to clean up carefully.
Even though Shi Li hadn't said a word or refused anything earlier, they could clearly tell she was pushing her limits.
She must have been completely exhausted.
So, everyone moved as quietly as possible. When it came time to change the sheets, they had to gently lift Shi Li. Worried that moving her to the sofa and then back again would wake her, Heige simply held her until the new sheets were on before carefully placing her back down.
Shi Li slept soundly, only stirring when the aroma of lunch began to drift in.
Her head still felt a little dizzy, though, and her body was unavoidably sore.
But on the whole, she felt clear-headed and refreshed.
Especially after sleeping her fill, she hadn't been forced awake, but had been roused by the fragrant aroma of a meal.
The sunlight streaming in through the window felt wonderfully warm.
Outside, lush green leaves swayed gently; it seemed to be a beautiful day.
