Jensen didn't answer the question, merely quickening his pace in silence.
This left Shi Li not daring to look down, but staring at Jensen didn't feel right either.
Looking up would only make the position seem even more awkward.
Jensen suddenly let out a muffled groan.
The heat made Shi Li instinctively pull her hand back, but Jensen gripped it firmly.
"Don't be in such a hurry. Just a little longer," Jensen's voice was incredibly hoarse.
But Jensen didn't force Shi Li to do anything else she was unwilling to do.
He was just borrowing her hand. Shi Li could accept that.
'But what is this place, anyway?'
"Why are you here?" The question came out of nowhere, stunning Jensen.
"I've been here since I opened my eyes. What do you mean, 'why am I here'?"
"Then where should I be?" Jensen was perplexed. Besides, he truly felt that this "tribute" before him was very familiar.
If they had never met before, Jensen would have a hard time explaining this feeling of familiarity.
