[Flashback]
Shawn, a not so successful business man was cuddling with his heavily pregnant wife Catherine.
His lovely wife seem to be enjoying the nice treatment from her husband as he rubs the back of her hand gently with his fingers. She had gotten used to him doing it that she never asked why he does it.
Suddenly, his phone rang and he picked, moving away from the living room inorder not to interrupt her movie.
When he was done, he sat down with her once again.
"Who was that honey? She asked, her eyes still glued to the TV.
"Someone, he said his name is Martins and he would like to see me, he has a job offer." Shawn replied, still not stopping what he was doing with her hand.
"Wow, that's great news honey."
"Yep. You know, I'm the luckiest man on the planet." He said smiling.
"Oh, really." She teased.
"Definitely. Ever since you've been pregnant, opportunities just keep coming." He kissed her hand.
"Hmm, you're right honey. Who knows, he might grow up to become a president one day."
"No way." He disagreed.
"Politics is a dirty job, instead he should become a successful business man."
Catherine's gaze shifted to what he was doing with her hand.
"Honey, why do you keep doing that with my hand?" She asked.
"I thought you would never ask" He said smiling and continued.
"This is a symbol of my love for you, just means I'd never stop loving you." He said smiling and kissed her hand again.
"You never fail to flatter me, do you?" She said and he smiled because it wasn't a question.
"Hon. I'm hungry, I'm craving pastries" she pouted.
"Babe, you ate less than thirty minutes ago."
"So you're saying I eat too much? I'm a glutton right?"
He raised his hand in surrender. "I never said that babe, I'm just saying.... never mind I'll get you the pastries." He stood up immediately, taking his wallet.
"Thanks hon." She said smiling and blew him a kiss.
"You owe me babe, after we've had our baby, I'm getting my baby treatment back." He teased and she chuckled.
"What? I'm serious. I hope you just don't change your mind at the last minute."
"I won't. Thank youuu, you're the best." She blew him another kiss.
"How about I just take this one." He moved closer and kissed her on the lips.
"I'll call my mom to come over, it's ain't safe to leave you all by yourself." He said scrolling through his phone.
"That's why I married you hon, you're too caring."
"Who else would you marry?" He teased and bent down again to kiss her before heading.

Catherine covered her face in her palms as she cried the more. 'Why did I have to crave for that stupid pasta!' She thought in annoyance.
