Chapter 13 - New user

She sat around the kitchen table, waiting on her dad who said he would be with her shortly. Anxiety was slowly creeping up her soul. Her heart beating more loudly in the silent room. The slamming of the door jolted her back to reality, looking at the man who had brought more pain than happiness to her. He walked in all smiles carrying bags of takeout in his hands. He quickly off loaded them and with that same creepy smile told her that he wanted them to have a father too child bonding. She would have believed him if she was still the same naive girl she was three years ago but she knew better now.

Still, she wouldn't stop his plan now, she calmly picked up the first container and opened it, the aroma of stir fried rice wafting in the air. He even prepared her favorite meal for the whatever occasion they were celebrating. Well, she had starved all day so she ate, while waiting for him to spill the beans about what he wanted from her and she didn't have to wait for long.

The president called, he would need you on Friday and this time, he would double the pay. I also met someone. He is rich, filthy rich and he likes you. It is a good opportunity and he is even around your age, more money for us. You have to do it, I have debts to clear and you can't be living in my house for free so use your potentials, your mom was curvy too, the one thing that was endearing in her, nice genes.

You'll get to meet him tomorrow and do not spoil this for me or I'll kill you myself, I've had to deal with you for a long time and it's getting on my nerves. Wear something nice... That was his last words to her before he stood up and left. This time she didn't cry, she just stood up and packed the leftovers placing them carefully in the refrigerator. He probably won't be home that night so she would have the rest for breakfast.

Later that night, she laid on her bed her mind running at a hundred miles per minute. Recently, she had been more scared of her dad, he used to ignore her existence and only cared about the money she brought home but now he had that same killer look, the same one he had when he came back home over a year ago with blood stains on his hands and clothes. She remembered seeing him desperately trying to wash it off and hid to avoid being seen and now he had that same look. She went to sleep that night praying in her mind. There was nothing else she could do anyways.

The next day

They were in a fancy restaurant waiting for her new user. Her dad was right beside her, and he was restless. He kept moving and bouncing his legs and each raise of his hand made her flinch. She had kept her head and gaze low not daring to look at anybody. It felt like everybody knew what she was her for. History repeating itself, she had swore that she would do anything not to find herself in a situation like this again but where was she now.

Her father standing up to greet someone brought her out of her thoughts and low and behold. Who other than the mighty Jin.

Hello, princess.

She didn't say a word, barely listened to whatever they were saying. She kept her head down trying her best to breathe without teras falling down her eyes. He had said he would have her. He said he would have a taste of what the president gets to have and here they were. She didn't know when they finished speaking but only looked up when her father stood to his feet. She tried to follow him but a stern "stay" from him changed her mind. When her father left saying he had business to take care off, she finally raised her head, embarrassment clouding all over her. Even more than the anger she felt at herself, her father.

How easy it was to get you princess, I told you I would have you right. And now I didn't even have to beg, didn't even have to lift a finger but you still brought yourself to me.

How pathetic.. what a poor thing princess. I so know who needs sympathy more in you and Cinderella.

I will text you the location, he then stood up and left her too.
