Chapter 14 - Fear

The bustling city of Seoul did nothing to bring back her wandering mind. She was now on her way back home but was taking a rather long route just to find solace before returning to her nightmare, her home. That's even if she could call it her home. A home was supposed to be a little paradise where you feel safe. A place to call your own even if it was with....family. she had none of it, both home and family. A message had popped in and even though her sixth sense told her not to check it, she still found herself tapping on the message and it simply said, ETERNO CHEONGDAM APARTMENT, HAN RIVER.

The constituent was no other than Jin, he had said he would text her the address, where they would meet, or in simple sense, where they would do the deed, where she would be fxxxed and used again by a classmate cause he had the wealth she did not have and had the power to destroy her life if he wanted. She had thought of who he really is and her onservant nature had given her an insight into his background. she now knows that he is rich, filthy rich, rich enough to buy her, how he met her father she doesn't know but from their previous encounter she knows she was a pawn in his game, misfortune just seemed to always grab her at every corner. She continued on her journey home feeling more miserable than ever, was her life different in a parallel universe. Was her mom alive with her never ending smile and soft demeanor. She loved fairy tales and this one is certainly not her favorite. Survival is a bitch

A week and four days had passed since their first meeting and she was to meet him the next day. Anxiety creeped up her chest. She didn't know what to expect, would he be worse?, Could she escape?. She was scared, so scared, for herself. This Time not because of what he could do to her, not because he could be cruel, but for her life. What if he decided that he didn't want her and push her out without giving her money. Her father has been so aggressive. President Jung hasn't called her and it's been over three weeks, it has never been that long, the max was one week and her father has been so irritative. He has never gone that long without receiving money and she feared that if the next day didn't work out, he might harm her again. She had never been so scared of him, one because he is always sober now which means he always knew she was there and two, his eyes, They had this look she can't name.

He had hit her two days after they all met in the cafe, came home earlier than usual and caught her filling water in a cup from the tap. She had sensed the danger before he moved, the way his eyes suddenly glinted, the angry, pissed off look on his face. She turned, running straight into her room before securing the lock. Her heart hammered against her chest but her escape enraged him more than she taught. She heard his angry laugh, sadistic in a way and his footsteps nearing the door. The one she then stood against, muttering prayers to every God out there to help her. Then, the footsteps receded and she believed her cries had been heard, relief had rushed through her in violent rays but it wasn't for long. She heard the footsteps again, frantic and rushed this time, he was then silent as If rethinking his choice when she heard a loud bang, terror filled through her again, he was trying to break the door and he was succeeding. The hinges shook and rattled at each hit, she tried to stop it or actually delay it. Desperately pushing her body against the door but with a final hard hit, the door gave out and they both came crashing down, herself and the door. She had then begged, crawling away from him, maybe he was deaf or simply unalive in his shell of a body, she didn't know. The hammer came crashing down on her, a last minute shift brought the hammer down on the floor beneath her. That hit would have shattered her bone. Her heart was thumping, pumping blood than it has ever had in the seventeen years of it's existence. She had begged again and it seemed like that final sob softened something in him. He suddenly dropped the hammer and before she could blink, a punch came crashing down on her, hitting her square in the face. More descended on her. It was like he went feral, her cries and sobs only seemed to encourage him more. It was until when she stopped, when the world suddenly felt like a dark room and she blacked out did he leave her, or maybe that what's she thought since she wasn't conscious to recall it. Even though it's been over a week, she was still hunted. She had nightmares and it was always the same, she would be on the floor, bloodied and swollen in different places, her breath coming in soft, shallow pants like her life was draining out of her. He would look down at her with blood, her blood all over his hands with a smile on his face then she would wake up, panting and gasping for air. She might be paranoid but that reoccurring dream had brought lots of fear into her heart. What would happen next?, What will happen if he rejected her. What if he just approached her for his ammusement and fun.

Maybe she might die sooner than she thought. It'll be better if she thought of the worst to come than to be shocked when it happens. At least she would have been prepared. Most likely, she had been prepared since the day she was brought into her father's home...
