Killian lazed in his bed in his room as the computer in front of him rang. After a while Vladimir came into view with his glasses connected by a silver chain and he was looking down at some papers.
"We've infiltrated Elixir." Killian smiled "We need to make out identities as member of Blackwolf industries on a Company Vacation."
Vladimir typed something for a moment and spoke, "Done, anything else?"
"May we use the Nox Family's funds?" he asked
Vladimir finally looked at him, "What's your surname?"
"....Nox...." he answered
Vladimir sighed, "So why are you asking about using family money when you are a member of said family. Go nuts, contrary to what you may believe I am in fact busy so don't call again."
The connection cut and he chuckled for a while and send orders to his subordinates that they could bill everything to the Nox account. Killian turned on another tab on his computer and a voice echoed in.
"Wait. So Vlad managed to rob her right in her face?" a male voice laughed "I didn't think those pup had so much bite."
There was silence for a while so the person was clearly on the phone without putting it on speaker.
The man spoke, " Why do you overestimate them? Don't worry what can they do except grasp for straws? And don't forget they'd never target me."
Killian thought, "I could admire his confidence or pity his situation."
He ordered his subordinates to enjoy themselves while gathering intel about the place. He looked at the files given to him by the Heads again
Meanwhile Blake entered Valentine's office.
It was different from his elder brother, brighter with his roses everywhere and inviting air toward it.
"Why are you standing?" His half-brother asked "Sit down, Vladimir probably didn't tell you anything but you're managing somehow."
Blake smiled, "It's okay. I know how bust the both of you are."
"True....ask the question that giving you indigestion. I'm feeling generous." Valentine laughed
Blake thought carefully before asking, "Why Elixir?"
"Oh, I didn't see that coming." Valentine commented with surprise
Blake told, "I don't think you'd answer so soon about my father so I asked the next best thing."
Valentine smiled and beckoned Blake to follow him. The enter a door an arrived in a lab of some kind with flasks of all size and Valentine picked up a small vial and looked at it red contents.
"That mission is mostly my agenda because as much as I hate it. The owner is a genius with potion making abilities that put modern medicine making to shame." Valentine smiled
Blake asked cautiously, "So we're recruiting him."
"He would never because we're the same, can't bow his head. So if you can't have it....break it so it doesn't become a hassle later." Valentine beamed
The glass container shattered and Blake's blood ran cold being the full focus of his smile. A vine gave him a paper.
"That's why I called you here actually. I'm having a tiny problem. I make sure that the family makes more money but the Police Pioneers have been sniffing around some of my shipments. They've been extra motivated and I'm concerned as a law abiding citizen that I'm not." Valentine sighed
He gave the paper to Blake. It contained information about the shipments of monster meat, illegally imported living monsters, and guns.
Blake thought, "No wonder they're so invested."
"Take care of it, we wouldn't want me to do it. Just make sure this will never be a hassle. m'kay?" Valentine smiled
Blake answered, "Leave it to me."
Blake left the area and sighed when he finally closed the door. Both brothers maybe different but they had their similarities sometimes. His phone rang with a call an unknown number and he answered.
"How are you fitting in?" Killian's voice asked with a content sighed
Blake answered, "Got an assignment and what are you doing?"
"Getting a massage next I'll try the gaming area. When you increase you rank maybe you should come too. I had the hot baths with oil treatment and my skin is glowing." Killian sighed
Blake frowned, "I don't want to know what a grown man is doing at a spa with so much detail."
"So what help with your work? Maybe some pointers." He offered
Blake snapped, "I need to do this on my own to gain their trust. No shortcuts and I won't be monitored either."
Killian looked at his phone with a chuckle. A woman slipped into the chair near him, he had finished the massage and was lounging around the pool area before heading toward the games part of the resort.
"Who's that?" she asked
Killian answered, "New employee I'm concerned about."
"You seem to be new and that doesn't happen often." She laughed "Would you like some company?"
Killian thought with a hidden sigh, "I think I'm going to be in Elixir for a while."
At that time Blake reached the port of Nightfall City.
"If it isn't Blake of the Nox family." A voice said to rage
Blake looked at the individuals in police uniforms. He then saw several red dots appear on his body and looked at his friends or should they be ex-friends he wasn't sure yet.
"Let's talk this out first. No need to any violence, the Nox family just what our shipments." he smiled
His friend, Matteo shouted "WHAT DID THOSE CRIMINAL OFFERYOU TO BETRAY US!!"
"Technically, we're in the moral grey area." Blake corrected
A flash of sparkles blinded everyone and a young girl stood beside Blake with a rage filled expression.
She snarled, "How dare you!? To a member of the main family!!"
The woman with Matteo twisted her face into a complicated expression as Blake unbuttoned his three-piece suit and ripped his tie off.
"I thought I was coming to discuss, possibly bride and go back." Blake sighed
Blake dashed forward to the leader of the group with blades attached to his hands. He would use this person as a hostage and figure-
His thought stopped as a ice covered hand blocked his and he turned to looked at the face of Xavier with surprise.
"You...you're in the main family. Did you change your surname?" Xavier asked with a pained face
The girl shot a beam of sparkles in between the brothers and held an axe. She swung it toward Xavier with a fury in every action.
"I am Gabriella White a subordinate of Blake Nox. You have insulted the main family and I request a duel-Underworld rules! Live or die only!" She roared
