The night air grew colder.
The Fernandez Mansion was completely surrounded.
Red laser sights danced across the walls.
Everyone inside remained silent.
Waiting.
Watching.

Outside...
Scott and the Shadow League commanders had already taken their positions in the darkness.
Nathan adjusted his earpiece.
"Commander Scott..."
"Everyone is ready."
Scott nodded.
"No one enters the mansion."
"No one leaves."
"The Boss's safety comes first."
"Understood."

Inside...
Keifer stood beside Jay.
"I'm coming with you."
Jay looked at him.
"No."
Keifer frowned.
"I'm not letting you face them alone."
Before Jay could answer...
Angelo placed a hand on Keifer's shoulder.
"Trust her."
Keifer looked at Angelo in confusion.
Angelo simply smiled.
"She knows what she's's doing."
Jay gave Angelo a grateful glance.
Without another word...
She walked towards the front door.
The moment she stepped outside...
The cold wind brushed against her face.
The masked men immediately raised their weapons.
One of them shouted,
"There she is!"
"Take her down!"
Gunfire erupted.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Jay moved like a shadow.
She sprinted across the driveway, effortlessly dodging the incoming bullets.
Within seconds...
She reached the nearest attacker.
CRACK!
One precise punch.
The man collapsed instantly.
Another rushed toward her with a knife.
Jay caught his wrist.
Twisted it.
Snap!
The knife fell to the ground.
She kicked him into another attacker.
Both crashed into the garden.
The remaining gunmen hesitated.
"...She's fast."
"No..."
"She's a monster."

Inside the mansion...
Ci-N peeked through the curtains.
His jaw dropped.
"H-How is she doing that?"
David was equally speechless.
"Since when can Jay fight like this?"
Felix narrowed his eyes.
"...She's been hiding something."
Keifer's heart pounded.
Every movement Jay made...
Was precise.
Efficient.
Almost... military.
He had never seen her fight like this before.
Something didn't feel right.

Outside...
One of the attackers quietly slipped away from the battle.
He ignored Jay completely.
His destination...
The back entrance of the mansion.
Yuri.
He pulled out a silenced pistol.
"This ends now."
Before he could take another step—
A cold voice echoed behind him.
"Looking for someone?"
The attacker spun around.
Scott stood in the darkness.
Nathan, Lucas, Damien, Zane and Aiden slowly emerged beside him.
Their faces remained hidden beneath black masks.
The attacker took a frightened step back.
"W-Who are you people?"
Scott calmly drew his weapon.
"The people..."
"...who protect our Queen."
The attacker's eyes widened.
"Our... Queen?"
Before he could react—
Scott struck the back of his neck.
The man collapsed unconscious.
Scott looked toward the mansion.
"No one touches the Boss."
"Not while we're alive."
The six commanders silently disappeared into the darkness once again.
Not a single person inside the mansion had seen them.
Not even Jay.
Because that...
Was exactly how Shadow League operated.

Near the front gate...
Only three attackers remained standing.
Jay slowly walked toward them.
Not a single scratch marked her.
Fear filled their eyes.
One of them lowered his weapon.
"We..."
"We're retreating!"
The others immediately followed.
Within seconds...
The black SUVs sped away into the night.
Silence returned to the mansion.
Jay watched until the vehicles disappeared.
Her expression remained unreadable.
"...This isn't over."
Far away...
Inside one of the escaping SUVs...
A masked man picked up his phone.
"The mission failed."
A distorted voice answered from the other end.
"I expected as much."
"Proceed to Phase Two."
The call ended.
The masked man slowly smiled.
"Yes, Sir."
