BOOM!
The entire Fernandez Mansion shook violently.
Glass rattled.
The lights flickered before the emergency power system activated.
Jay's expression instantly turned cold.
Yuri clenched his fists.
"...They found me."
Jay grabbed the flash drive from the table and slipped it into her pocket.
"Stay here."
Yuri immediately shook his head.
"They're here because of me."
"They won't stop until I'm dead."
Jay looked at him calmly.
"Then we'll make sure they fail."
Before Yuri could reply—
Scott's voice echoed through Jay's hidden earpiece.
"Boss."
"We detected multiple armed intruders outside the mansion."
"Approximately twenty."
Jay frowned.
"Shadow League?"
"No."
"They're professionals."
"They came prepared."
Jay's eyes narrowed.
"Protect everyone inside."
"Yes, Boss."
The call ended.

Outside the mansion...
Several black SUVs surrounded the estate.
Masked men carrying assault rifles quickly took positions.
One of them spoke into a radio.
"Target confirmed."
"Retrieve the witness."
"Eliminate anyone who interferes."
"Understood."

Inside the living room...
Angelo had already moved everyone away from the windows.
Keifer immediately noticed Jay walking downstairs with Yuri.
His eyes widened.
"...Yuri?"
The room fell silent.
Aries froze.
David, Ci-N, Felix and Edrix stared in disbelief.
"You..."
"You disappeared."
Yuri looked down.
"I'm sorry."
"There wasn't time to explain."
Before anyone could ask another question—
BANG!
A bullet shattered one of the front windows.
Everyone instinctively ducked.
Kerian flinched.
Jay immediately pulled him behind the sofa.
"It's okay."
"I've got you."
Keifer stood protectively in front of Kerian.
Angelo's expression hardened.
"They're after Yuri."
Yuri nodded.
"...Yes."
"And if they capture me..."
"Everything I've uncovered dies with me."
Jay looked around the room.
"Listen carefully."
"Everyone stays inside."
"Lock every entrance."
"No one goes outside."
Ci-N swallowed nervously.
"What about you?"
Jay gave a small smile.
"I'm going to end this."
Before anyone could stop her...
She walked toward the front door.
Keifer caught her wrist.
"No."
"You can't fight them alone."
Jay looked into his eyes.
"I'm not alone."
At that exact moment...
The lights outside the mansion suddenly went out.
Darkness covered the entire estate.
Then...
Red laser sights appeared across the garden.
Scott's calm voice came through Jay's earpiece once more.
"Boss."
"Shadow League has arrived."
"We're awaiting your command."
A faint smile appeared on Jay's face.
Without turning around, she quietly answered—
"Protect the mansion."
"Leave the intruders..."
"...to me."
