Jay's Pov
The next day Keifer had taken the doctor's appointment since I asked him, we directly went there,
Both of us met her and she started explaining how Keifer condition was, for me to understand and also said that he is recovering which made me feel relived and she asked is to follow some activities and then
Doc: "We need to speak alone" she said looking at me, Though Keifer was confused he left giving us the space,
Jay: "Is there anything else that I need to know doctor?" I asked in a worried tone
Doc: "I think you are his whole word in his life and he stops functioning when you are not in it, I mean he just operates to fulfil his responsibility but forgets to live his life, I mean now he is trying again because you are back in it and honestly apart from all the medications and diet, he also needs you and a happy environment to fully recover"
Jay: "I understand Doctor, I will make sure he will recover soon."
D: "He will don't worry."
I smiled and nodded,
Jay: "Thanks."
And headed out where Keifer was waiting for me,
Keifer: "So what did she say?"
I gave him a look before replying
Jay: "For you to listen to me and obey."
He held my hand and pulled me closer
Keifer: "I would gladly do that"
Jay: "Keifer, leave me" I said and smacked him,
He laughed and left me and both of us went out and was surprised to see David waiting there,
Keifer: "What are doing here?"
David: "Well, our meeting got moved up, I knew you were here, So I came to pick you up."
Keifer: "Are you still tracking my phone."
David: "Hey old habits die hard"
Keifer gave him a impossible look and I just chuckled.
Keifer: "But I have to drop Jay"
Jay: "No, it's fine, I can manage."
David: "Don't worry I came in the company's car, she can use that."
Keifer: "That's good."
Keifer then hugged and placed a kiss on forehead,
Keifer: "Take care."
I smiled and nodded,
Jay: "You too."
After that I got in the car and went to the office,
As I went in, I didn't mean to hear it but I did,
Staff1 :"Look at the time she is coming."
Staff 2: "Well, we don't have the benefits she does right."
I don't know what the hell was that, Maybe they are pissed about me being late but I decided to ignore them and went to my cabin,
And Sara came in, and she looked worried
Sara: "Are you okay?"
Jay: "Yeah, I am alright, what happened to you?"
Sara: "Nothing, nothing why are you late?"
She looked like she was hiding something,
Jay: "I went to the doctor with Keifer."
Sara: "Ohh Good." She was still fidgety,
Jay: "Okay tell me what's going on?"
Sara: "No, it's nothing, it's just… you tell me how was the doctor's appointment." She was clearly trying to change the topic
Jay: "Okay now tell me what is it?"
She let out a breathe,
Sara: "Okay, don't panic, but I need to show you something."
She said and gave me her phone,
I took it to see it was pictures of Keifer and I from yesterday when I was sitting on his lap and when we both kissed and it was all over social media platform,
But the worst part was the comment and captions around it, it was written,
"Employee seduces CEO of JJ Ltd"
And it looked the photo was edited to make it look more sexualized.
And I started reading the comments,
"probably the reason she staying over for multiple overnights."
"Wow, that's what she has been working on."
"What would she do, he got it all looks and money."
I was going to read more when Sara pulled away the phone from and tears started pouring in my eyes after reading them,
Is this what people really think of me and I could say that no one actually thought we could be in love, all of them were demeaning and making me as a gold digger.
Sara quickly hugged me,
Sara: "It okay, we will see what we can do."
She said patting me, and I hugged her back.
Jay: "Who do you think would have done that?"
Sara: "We will figure it out now don't worry, it is just fake news no one knows about you guys, let me call Keifer and David and see what we can do."
Jay: "No, No don't call him, he is in a meeting I don't want him to be stressed, We'll do something."
Sara: "Now, don't worry, Stay here, I will bring something for you to drink."
Jay: "No, it's fine."
Sara: "Just wait"
I went to use the restroom, to wash my face, when I went inside, I already saw some women present there, they were speaking and became silent as soon as I went, I just ignored them and went to was my face,
I was about to go out when they started speaking,
W: "So how did you do it? How did you seduce him?"
Jay: "What?"
W2: "Ohh, Come on he mostly never let's anyone in his cabin and even if he does, they immediately go out after the work is done, so how did you do it."
Jay: "Excuse me."
They have started to behave in cheap behaviour, So I just moved from them and went out to see Sara was in my cabin.
Sara: "We have to go."
