Mr William and Mrs Francesca soon arrived with the family.

"Ah, my boy!"

Mrs Francesca immediately hugged Nikolai.

"Hi, Mama," he said.

"Where is Mimi?"

Timor answered.

"With her mama."

Nikolai smiled.

"I will bring both my girls home."

The family began planning the ceremonies.

Meanwhile, Mila woke up.

She sat on the chair for a moment, rubbing her sleepy eyes.

Then she climbed down and waddled toward the hall.

Bhairavi was speaking with Lilith.

She immediately embraced her.

"I am so sorry, Dādīnī bahen."

"Grand aunt," Lily explained softly.

Bhairavi smiled.

"I am happy you are here and back with your family too."

Mila waddled into the room.

"Mama, I up!"

Lilith immediately turned.

"Hi, baby."

"Hi, Mama. Where Dada go?"

Mila looked around.

"It is our wedding, baby. After the wedding we go stay with Dada. Love?"

Lilith smiled.

Mila nodded.

"Baby, this is Grand Auntie. Say hi and take Aunt's blessings."

Lilith smiled.

"Hi. I Mil."

Mila came forward and touched Bhairavi's feet.

"Bless you, dear."

Bhairavi gently lifted her.

"How are you, sweetheart?"

"I otay. You otay?"

Mila made adorable little gestures with her hands.

"Yes, baby. Come here."

Bhairavi hugged her.

Everyone smiled as they watched.

The family continued chatting.

Lilith reunited with everyone, hugging relatives one after another as preparations for the ceremonies continued.

Three days later, the day of the Roka arrived.

Roka — The formal announcement of the marriage alliance between the two families.

The mansion had been transformed.

Flowers decorated every entrance.

Golden lanterns illuminated the courtyards.

Crimson and emerald fabrics draped across balconies while enormous floral arrangements stood beside the marble fountains.

Guests began arriving early.

Nikolai wore a black button up shirt.

He folded his sleeves neatly.

Ivaan stared at him.

"Oh wow, Nick. Looks like you did a lot of shopping."

"No kidding," Hugo added.

Nikolai rolled his eyes.

"Enough."

Viktoria looked toward the door.

"Surinder is waiting. Let us go."

They got into the cars and left.

Meanwhile, the mansion was spotless.

Lilith sat by the window drawing quietly.

The sunlight touched her face.

Then she heard the sound of approaching cars.

She immediately looked outside.

She peeked through the curtains.

And there he was.

Nikolai was walking down with his family.

Lilith's cheeks immediately became warm.

Nikolai stopped.

He looked up.

His eyes caught hers.

Lilith gasped.

She quickly hid behind the curtains.

Nikolai smiled.

He knew she was watching him.

He walked inside.

"Welcome. Please come in," Riyana said.

Nikolai approached her respectfully and took her blessings.

"Bless you, dear."

"How is your health?"

Riyana smiled.

"You can tell me if there is something wrong. I will handle it, Mother."

"I am not healthy," Riyana admitted softly. "It is fine, Nick. Don't worry."

Nikolai hugged her.

"I will find out," he whispered.

The families gathered together and began discussing the wedding arrangements.

Lilith sat quietly with the women.

Cassia looked toward her.

"Ouuuuu, watching your soon to be husband and his family, huh?"

Gloria laughed.

"Or trying to get him to look up, hmmm?"

Lilith shyly hid her blushing face.

The girls laughed and teased her even more.

Then—

Mila yawned.

Nikolai immediately turned.

"Hello, my little princess."

He smiled.

"DADAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"

Mila shouted.

Everyone laughed as she ran toward him.

Nikolai lifted her into his arms.

"Hi, Dada! Where you go, huh?"

"Dada gotta marry Mama and bring you both home with me, baby."

Mila wrapped her arms around his neck.

Mr William approached.

"Hi, sweetie."

"Hi, Granny!"

Mila hugged him.

Everyone laughed.

The wedding dates were finally finalized.

Nikolai looked across the room.

His eyes met Lilith's.

He winked.

Lilith immediately looked away.

Before leaving, Nikolai sent flowers to her.

A small card was attached.

My bride-to-be.

Lilith reread the words.

Her cheeks turned red.

"Awwwwww!!!!!"

The girls screamed.

Lilith covered her face with the flowers.

Mila received flowers too.

Rafsan crouched beside her.

"You like it, princess?"

"Uh huh! It pwetty!"

Mila smiled brightly.

Meanwhile, Nikolai returned home with a smile.

He entered the palace and noticed several unfamiliar people sitting inside.

"Hello."

Kaal Daya looked up.

"Who are you?"

Nikolai walked toward her.

He respectfully took her blessings.

"Bless you. May you live a long life," Daya said.

Surinder leaned toward Nikolai.

"She is Daya. The woman I was talking to you about."

"Oh," Nikolai replied.

He looked at Daya.

"I see you made it to my royal wedding."

Daya's expression changed.

"Well, I was wondering why you would go back to a woman who left you instead of getting married again. Maybe you should have remarried."

Nikolai's smile disappeared.

"For your information, she is still my wife."

The room became silent.

"She is the mother of my precious daughter. Even though we separated, I would never have gotten remarried."

Daya smiled coldly.

Nikolai's expression became completely serious.

"Now listen to me."

Everyone became tense.

"I will not allow anyone to interfere with my wedding."

He stepped forward.

"I do not care whether they are family or not."

His voice was calm, but every word carried authority.

"You do not know what I went through to get both my girls back."

He paused.

"Lily has sacrificed a lot for this family."

His expression softened for only a moment.

"My wife is standing high on her feet, and I am proud of her."

He looked toward his family.

"Especially our daughter."

"Mila is my world."

Nikolai's eyes hardened again.

"My wife is my life."

Daya said nothing.

"So please," Nikolai continued, "whatever plans you are making, it is better for you to cancel them."

He stepped closer.

"Do not disturb my wedding."

His voice dropped.

"Do not threaten my family."

Everyone remained silent.

"And by the way," Nikolai added, "you did not say something to Mrs Riyana."

Daya's expression changed.

"If anything happens to her, I will hold you responsible."

Nikolai folded his hands.

"Goodbye."

He turned and walked away.

"He just insulted us!" one of the men exclaimed.

Mrs Francesca immediately looked at him.

"No."

She shook her head.

"My son gave you all a warning."

"They do not call him King of Kings for nothing."

Russia bowed at his feet.

"Nobody dares him. Not even us."

She looked directly at Daya.

"So please do not do anything to disturb this wedding."

"We do not want the murads to become angry with us."

She folded her hands.

"Any plans you have should be stopped."

"Dissolve them."

"Goodbye."

Daya took a deep breath.

Her anger was visible.

She turned and left.

But nobody in the palace noticed the dangerous determination in her eyes.

Daya had nine children.

Five sons—

Dilbagh.

Harpal.

Jasraj.

Rajdeep.

Sehajbir.

And four daughters—

Aarzoo.

Leher.

Rupinder.

Vaishnavi.

Nine children in total.

As Daya walked away from the palace, her grip tightened around the edge of her veil.

The royal wedding preparations continued inside.

Music echoed through the enormous palace.

Flowers continued arriving.

The kitchens prepared endless dishes.

Designers inspected ceremonial clothing.

Jewellers delivered magnificent wedding ornaments.

The royal decorators adjusted the floral arrangements.

Security personnel moved through the corridors.

Family members discussed the upcoming ceremonies.

And somewhere within the enormous palace, Lilith stood beside the window holding Nikolai's flowers.

She looked down at the card again.

My bride-to-be.

A small smile appeared on her lips.

She touched the flowers gently.

"Mama?"

Lilith turned.

Mila stood in the doorway.

Lilith crouched down.

"Yes, baby?"

Mila held up her little hands.

"Dada come?"

Lilith smiled.

"Soon."

Mila nodded.

"Dada marry Mama."

Lilith laughed softly.

"Yes, baby."

Mila hugged her.

"And then we go home with Dada."

Lilith closed her eyes and hugged her daughter tightly.

"Yes."

Outside, the palace glowed beneath the evening sky.

The domes shone beneath golden illumination.

The fountains sparkled.

The gardens were filled with flowers.

The royal banners moved gently in the evening breeze.

The entire estate seemed to be preparing for something legendary.

The Roka had officially begun the countdown.

The wedding was no longer a distant dream.

It was coming.

And everyone knew one thing.

This would not be an ordinary wedding.

It would be a royal celebration remembered for generations.

But beneath the beauty flowers jewels music and laughter, danger had already entered the palace.

Daya had left with anger in her heart.

And Nikolai's warning had made one thing very clear.

Nobody would be allowed to destroy the family he had fought so hard to protect.

Not even family.
