The peaceful kingdom of Camelot basked under a sunny afternoon sky. Streets buzzed with rowdy shops and civilians; birds chirped overhead. A gentle, hot breeze flowed through the air as morning unfolded in the rundown apartment where Auntie Lily and Seig lived.
Seig woke with a wide yawn—still in black pajamas, sleep bags heavy under his emerald eyes. Lily's voice cut through.
Lily "Wake up, you sleepyhead! Your breakfast is getting cold."
Seig shuffled to the sink—brushed his teeth, dragged his feet to the dining table. A well-prepared spread waited: bread, eggs, meat sausages, milk.

Lily "Bye she said as she ran out in a hurry.
After eating Seig showered and slipped into his usual outfit He ruffled his rough black hair—glanced at his Rank 3 badge on the dresser. He pocketed it and burst through the apartment door.
Seig "Okay! I'm gonna take care of my duties with gusto today!!!"
He screamed and ran off with a sudden outburst of enthusiasm, determination.
Three months have passed since their mission in the lightning kingdom and the team returned to their usual life.
Meanwhile—Miki Senji and Aturia Silva stood outside a rice restaurant waiting for their captain who told the team to meet up.
Seig arrived—grinning wide.
Seig "Good morning, Miki!"
He said and then suddenly turned—a cold death stare at Aturia who returned it back likewise as the two still couldn't stand each other.
Five hours passed and trio grew tired of waiting. Then they spotted Baka's muscular figure from afar as he staggered in, face a bit red, beer in hand and his katana strapped to his waist.
Baka "Well… (burps) Good morning, everyone! I'm sorry—I was just a little busy… and lost figuring out the path of life.
The trio shouted in unison
Trio "Liar!! Making Baka to giggle a bit.
Miki "i bet he's just doing this on purpose to rage bait us.
Baka "Anyway now that we're all here it's time for us to get going on our mission. It's time for you three to push past your limits
Moments later—the trio picked weeds in a man's farm.
Seig thought to himself "I'm not gonna lose to Athuria anyways farming is a piece of cake.
A few minutes later
Farmer "Hey—you!"
Seig "Oh hey, mister! I've gotten rid of all the weeds—huh? What's wrong? Why do you look angry?"
Farmer "Those aren't weeds! You removed the herbs I grew on my farm!"
THWACK!—knuckle punch to Seig's head.
Seig holds his head whining in pain "Ouch—ouch—ouch!!"
Next they picked up trash by the river. Seig slipped and fell in the river as the strong current swept him and paddled desperately toward a big waterfall.
Seig "Somebody help! The current is too strong!!
Aturia reacted and created a giant ice wall blockade preventing Seig from going down the waterfall.
Aturia scoffs "You meat-head… always you're so annoying.
After that it was a lunch break as everyone took a Little break.
Miki healed Seig's bruises on his body with her healing magic.
Miki "Gosh, Seig—look at the bruises on your body. It's because you're so reckless you need to take good care of yourself.
Aturia "Jeez you've been causing an awful lot of trouble today."
Seig "Quit being all cocky
Athuria looked at Seig with disappointment "Then why don't you become better than me loser.
Baka watches both Aturia and Seig and sighs "Yep… teamwork hasn't been good lately.
Seig "That's right, Athuria—you're to blame for our poor teamwork! You're always attracting attention."
Aturia "That's you, idiot! I hate this there are other people my age out there who could give me a challenge why am I stuck doing nothing assignments with this dufus.
Miki "It's okay, you two… you don't need to argue."
Baka "Well then… I think we should disperse. I do need to submit a report about this mission/work."
Athuria "Well then—I'm going home.
Miki "Wait Aturia i was wondering why don't we three train together? To improve our teamwork. We don't always have to wait for Captain Baka to train us.
Aturia "Why would I waste my time training with that knucklehead? And also, Miki—not to hurt your feelings… but you have zero combat and fighting skills. Being a support and healer is good and all but what if you're all alone against a powerful enemy when your teammates are gone, you'll only just be a burden.
Miki felt heartbroken—but knew Aturia was just being honest.
Seig interrupted "hey don't you dare insult Miki that way.

As they walked together heading to the training ground
Suddenly—little kids surrounded Miki in excitement.
Miki greeted each of them with a warm smile, remembering their names and kneeling to meet them at eye level.
Kids "Miss Miki—do you have free time now
Miki "I'm sorry… but I'm kinda busy right now, me and my teammate are heading to the training ground to train.
Tony "Awww… but you said you'd play knights with us today!
Miki "maybe another time ok.
Seig "Why would a knight be playing knights? And who are these kids anyway?"
Miki "They're children I help care for at the hospital whenever they're sick.
Gomu "Miss Miki is the kindest! She's always fun to play with!"
Abel "She bakes us delicious cookies every weekend!"
Bobby: "When my toy broke, Miss Miki fixed it for me!"
Dodo: "I hurt my arm once, but Miss Miki healed it with her magic. It doesn't hurt anymore!"
Lina "She even remembers all our names!"
Tony "She's the best! We always have fun when she's around!"

Miki laughs shyly "I just like seeing them smile that's all.
Suddenly the joy cut short as two mysterious teenagers approached—about Seig and Aturia's age.

A girl with short black-hair and freckles on her face in a short-sleeved purple kimono-style dress and with a weapon strapped to her back.
Meanwhile at the mission HQ—Baka handed his report to Lily in the mission office as she did some stamping and arranged it in a file.
Lily "So—I've officially received the report from you. She hesitates a bit before asking her question "Is Seig getting along with the other members of his team.
Baka "Well… he's doing okay no need to worry.
Lily "I've been busy lately… so we haven't really spent time together since he came back. Sometimes I rarely come back home at all because of the work she says in a young, beautiful voice—hiding emotions.
Baka "As you know, Miss. Lily—Aturia is also in our squad. Seig sees her as a rival… which is straining and giving me a lot of headaches. But I guess—in the end—what matters is their abilities are developing significantly."

Miki "I'm sorry—I was fooling around. Just let the kid go, please.
Kirito "No this kid needs to be taught a lesson first to not damage someone else's property he says as he squeezes the kid neck harder.
Seig "Let go of the kid now, you bully."
Kirito smirks "So these are Camelot Rank 3 magic knights? Don't worry—I just want to play with the kid. Nothing personal.
Both Seig and Miki ran to stop him—but Kirito suddenly snapped his fingers and suddenly they both lost their balance and fell down on the floor. They stood up again to get closer but fell down again on the floor.
Seig sits up "What the hell is happening why am I suddenly so clumsy.
Miki "he probably has something to do with it
Kirito "Unbelievable… Camelot Rank 3 magic knights are weaker than I thought."
Miki "You guys aren't from around here, are you? Who are you two? Why are you here?"
Seig "Hey—if you don't let go of that kid… I won't forgive you! You fool!"
Miki tugs Seig shirt as she whispers to him "Wait a minute, Seig… we don't even know them—or what magic they use. Isn't it best not to provoke them and we handle the matter calmly before things get outta hand. And also for some reason we keep tripping every time we get close to him.
Alice sighs "It's not on me if something bad happens just so you know.
Kirito grinned as he enjoyed this but suddenly his fun ended abruptly as his hand was pierced by an ice needle as he grunted in pain forcing him to drop the kid, he looked up behind him and saw Aturia sitting on a tree branch —fiddling with another ice needle.
Aturia "What do you think you're doing in someone else's kingdom—with someone's child, you jerk?
Kirito licks his wound as his eyes were fixed on Aturia "Another little punk to piss me off."
Athuria " Whatever, just get lost before i have to kick your ass. She says as she crushes the ice needle in her palm.
Alice thought to herself "I won't lie… she's kinda badass and cool.
Miki "kids i think it's about time you all went home to be safe, get outta here. She says as the kids ran away to their homes.
Kirito "Hey—come down here, you girlie brat.
Proud girls like you with ego are the kind I hate the most.
Then suddenly
A harsh, cold, lifeless voice stopped him.
Fuuga "Stop it, Kirito. You're being an embarrassment to the Earth Kingdom.
A boy slowly emerged from the ground as it cracked open
With his brown hair, white short sleeve robe and a earring piercing on one of his ears. As he gave off an intimidating eerie aura around him.
Meanwhile—a summoned meeting is happening in Camelot's castle throne room. The Captains and the Fourth King of Knights Julius, gathered around a large round table as Julius sat in front of them.
Julius "There is no other reason to summon you all captains here… other than as I assume you already understand." he says in a relaxed tone.
Baka "So it's already that time again.
Wayne (The Captain of team M) "The other four kingdoms and smaller lands have already been notified, right?"
Mary ( The youngest rank 1 and the captain of team A) "And when will it be?"
Julius replied "In a week and yes every other kingdom and other smaller lands have been notified although some didn't agree.
Baka "In a week that's very sudden.
Wayne "Although it's been three months since they became magic knight they also show a lot of potential.
Julius "Now I will make the formal announcement. Seven days from now—on the first day of November—the Rank 2 Magic Knights Exam will begin!"
