The hundred rank 3 magic knights stared at the vast giant fenced forest before them.
Mochito: "it looks like a pretty creepy place.
Mr X: "You all are about to find out why they call it the forest of death.
Seig: "Oh please as if this is really enough to scare us. Trying to play mind games with us well I'm not going to fall for it.
Mr X suddenly fires a magic laser beam that grazes Seig on his cheek as blood slowly spills out.
Mr X: "Keep quiet you maggot, loud people like you are always the first to die in the forest.
"But before we begin their consent forms everyone has to sign.
Nara: "Why?
Mr X "We want all the details covered that during this exam we are not going to be held responsible if anyone of you dies.
Everyone took a form,signed it and submitted it back.
Mr X clears throat: "Now about the first phase of the exam to put it simply... It's a no holds barred survival test.
Nara: Survival eh? So we ain't joking around.
David: "I bet it's going to be a pain in the ass as well. David said still fixated on his comic book.
Mr X: "During the course of this exam you may use your magic element and for those without mana can use weapons or hand to hand combat.
"There's a white gemstone called the heaven stone and a black gemstone called the hell stone and your objective is to acquire both gemstones.
"They're a hundred of you here so i guess that that means 96 of you all are three member teams while the remaining four are two member teams.
"The first half (50) will start out with a white gemstone and the other half will start with a black gemstone but as a team you'll need both gemstones to pass.
"So your objective as a team is to hold onto your gemstone while while trying to get your hands on the other gemstone from other teams and then finally bring them both to the center of the forest.
Luna: "So what you're saying basically is out of the hundred students fifty or maybe more whose gemstones are stolen at the end of the month exam will be eliminated.
Mr X: "You're a sharp one aren't you... and you're time limit for this exam is 120 hours.
Miki: "Five days
Mochito: "What are we supposed to do about food?
Mr X glares at them intimidatingly: "That's your problem not mine. You'll be surrounded by enemies, face magic elements you've never seen before,exhaustion and dehydration and also face creatures who live in the forest.
"But there is one rule even if you have two gemstones and you made it to the center of the forest in time, but one of your member as a three man or two man team succumbed to death you'll be disqualified.
Finral smirks: "Well it's survival skills they want it's survival skills they'll get.
Mr X: "Alright now that every team has been handed a gemstone, when the signal sounds in ten minutes the exam will begin. And you better pray to your God for the slightest hope of making it out alive.
The giant steel gate slowly begins to crack open.
Mr X looks at his watch: "In 3,2,1..... The Rank 2 magic knights exam begins now.
The moment the bell rang everyone sprinted into the forest, scattering in every direction.
Seig: "Give me the gemstone! I'll charge straight through anyone who gets in our way!"
Aturia: "Absolutely not. You're too reckless. I can protect it better than you."
Seig: "Reckless?! At least I won't freeze up over every little thing!"
Aturia: "And at least I think before I act."
Before the argument could escalate, Miki stepped between them.
Miki: "P-Please stop... We're wasting time."
Seig and Aturia exchanged annoyed glances before sighing.
Seig: "Fine. Miki, you hold it."
