Chapter 36 - Chapter 35 — The Massage War

"Come on, Seraphine."

"You don't have to push me, Lyra. I know what I have to do."

Seraphine tried to lift the sword, but she couldn't.

"Seraphine, you need to know how to use a sword. How are you going to defeat the demons?"

They're thinking about that now?

The ogres are not going to wait for Seraphine to learn how to use a sword.

"Are you two going to take much longer? Or can we just kill you already? You've been standing in the same spot for five minutes."

Three ogres were waiting for Seraphine to learn how to handle the sword.

"And to think we were summoned to defeat losers like these."

The ogres started laughing at the girls.

"Are you laughing at me?"

"Ughhh."

Seraphine is using too much strength. It's dangerous—she might pass out.

"Come on, Seraphine!"

"Ughhh."

"I can't. It's too heavy."

Seraphine doesn't have a strong build, but she does have a beautiful body.

She was sweating so much that her shirt was showing her bra.

"Seraphine, let me use the sword, because I don't have any arrows."

Plaft.

"What was that, Seraphine?"

Seraphine slapped Lyra's hand.

"Let me use the sword. I need to kill the demons. They're waiting for me."

Plaft.

"Idiot."

Lyra jumped on top of Seraphine, and the two of them started wrestling.

"Your group is very strange."

Hearing that from someone wearing a pink apron makes me think I'm the real freak here.

"There, I'm done massaging your feet. Now I need to burn my hands to clean them.

I'm really lucky. I'm only dealing with one ogre.

"I feel much more relaxed."

The first person I ever massaged after finishing my massage course was an ogre.

"It was nice talking to you. See you later."

Now I'm going to hide.

"I didn't dismiss you."

"We want massages too."

I hadn't even taken two steps before the ogre grabbed me by the hair, and when I noticed, a whole line of ogres had formed, all wanting massages.

"That wasn't our deal."

I can't take this anymore.

"My fellow ogres saw the excellent job you did on me."

Man, there are four ogres.

"You already know what to do."

"Yes, sir."

That's what I get for being generous...

"Watch out. Can't you see I'm working here?"

I felt something scratching my back.

"Sorry, Kaela, I didn't see you."

I turned around to see who it was.

"What are you two doing here? My God, what happened?"

Lyra and Seraphine were a mess, hair all disheveled and their arms covered in scratches.

"It's Seraphine's fault. She wouldn't let me hold the sword so I could kill the demons."

Lyra spat dirt.

"Did the two of you roll all the way over here?"

"Kaela, where are you looking?"

Seraphine covered her chest with her arms.

"It's not what you're thinking."

Plaft.

"Ah, why did you hit me in the face?"

I was only looking a little...

"Hey, Kaela, convince Seraphine to let me use the sword."

I looked at Seraphine...

"Kaela is busy. Can't you see that, Lyra?"

The girls stepped away from me.

"Kaela, what are you doing?"

Lyra, you're way too close to me.

"I'm giving massages to the ogres."

Even though Lyra was covered in sweat, her skin is very soft.

"Do you want to help me, Lyra?"

Your eyes don't fool me.

"If you get Seraphine's sword for me, I'll help you."

What did Lyra see in that sword?

"Mr. Ogre, will you allow me to leave for a few moments?"

Is he sleeping?

"Now it's my turn to get a massage. Hurry up, and don't even think about running."

I ran. I didn't think about it at all.

"Kaela, you don't need to get the sword."

"Get out of my way, Seraphine."

Why is Seraphine acting so strangely?

"Go, Kaela. I'll hold Seraphine, and you grab the sword."

Lyra held Seraphine...

I ran to grab the sword.

What is this?

"Lyra, is this the sword you wanted?"

"Kaela, you're so strong. Seraphine couldn't even lift the sword."

Lyra is admiring me, but...

"Lyra, even you can hold it."

I handed the sword to Lyra.

"The sword is light."

Lyra bit her lips.

"I'm going over there to drink some water."

"Seraphine, you liar. You said the sword was heavy."

Seraphine froze.

"You know, I accepted fighting the ogres in the excitement of the moment, but when I saw three of them wanting to kill us, I got scared."

"AHHHHHH!"

Lyra dropped the sword.

"Seraphine, you were pretending this whole time."

Silence...

"Hahaha, you really are different."

The ogres who had been chasing the girls were now with the ones chasing me.

Now we have even more legs and feet to massage.

Lyra didn't complain, but Seraphine understood my pain.

Someone else is still missing...

"Idiot, I told you it was a bad idea."

Donke and Dorian were brought in tied up to join us.

"Welcome to the massage team."

And the line kept getting longer. Even the Men's Tribe got in line.

"Whose stupid idea was this?"

Donke didn't want to massage anyone.

"I agree with you, Donke. Whose idea could this have been?"

If he finds out it was me...

"I abandoned an idiot god just to join four people even worse than him."

Hahaha...

"Get down..."

What was that?

"It was a flying sword."

"Zafrom, I will take your head as a trophy."

Cement threw the sword in Zafrom's direction, but he dodged.

"Is that the best you can do, my friend?"

Nothing better than watching a fight while massaging a horde of ogres and men.

At least I'm free from that mess...

"Prison magic, walls of fire."

"Wow."

"Don't stop the massage."

Blah, blah, blah...

Zafrom and Cement are going to decide the end—or the beginning—of our story.
