He pointed straight at Weevil.
"Weevil—I'm banishing your set card!"
Weevil's face twisted. "Tch… so you're really going to push me?"
He snapped a card onto his Duel Disk.
"Then don't blame me! I activate Quick-Play Spell—Super Evolution Cocoon!"
Yami Yugi's eyes narrowed. "That card lets you Tribute an Insect monster with an Equip Card, then Special Summon an Insect from your Deck ignoring summoning conditions. But Weevil—your Inzektor Centipede doesn't have an Equip Card on it."
Weevil's grin widened.
"Hehehe… look closely, Yugi. I'm flipping another card!"
He slapped down a Trap.
"I activate Inzektor Gauntlet! It becomes an Equip Card that boosts the equipped monster's DEF by 1000—and the equipped monster can't be destroyed by your card effects!"
A hard shell of armor locked onto Inzektor Centipede.

"Now the condition is fulfilled!" Weevil shouted. "I Tribute Inzektor Centipede—and Special Summon from my Deck!"
A grotesque shadow surged up like a nightmare made of chitin and rot.
"Come forth—Ultimate Mutated Insect Queen!"

Tristan's face went pale. "Ugh… that thing is disgusting."
Even Aoi couldn't help it—her stomach turned.
"That card art was already nauseating," she muttered, hand to her mouth. "Making it 'real' is just… blegh."
Kaiba immediately moved beside her, patting her back like he was trying to swat away the feeling itself.
"You okay?"
"I'm fine," Aoi said through clenched teeth. "It's just… too gross."
Kaiba's glare snapped toward the duel. "Yugi! Hurry up and get rid of that disgusting monster!"
Weevil laughed, delighted. "Hehehe! You think you can deal with it that easily?!"
Yami Yugi's smile sharpened. "Sore wa dou kana."
Weevil stiffened. "What—?"
Yami Yugi raised a card.
"I activate The Eye of Timaeus!"
A roar shook the air. A green dragon tore through space above the field, its presence ancient and absolute.
"That's Yugi's Legendary Dragon," Kaiba said, voice low and certain.
Yami Yugi continued, unwavering.
"By The Eye of Timaeus, I target one 'Dark Magician' monster I control and Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster that lists it as material—using only that one monster!"
He pointed to his servant.
"I use Dark Magician—Fusion Summon!"
Green light wrapped around the staff, the cloak, the will—then forged it into something new.
"Come forth—Dark Magician the Dragon Knight!"

"Battle!" Yami Yugi commanded. "Dark Magician the Dragon Knight, attack Ultimate Mutated Insect Queen!"
The Dragon Knight lunged forward, blade and dragonfire converging—
"Not so fast!" Rex Raptor roared. "I activate Trap—Jurrac Impact!"
He spat the name like an oath.
"Not 'Jurassic'—Jurrac. Different card!"
A violent shockwave tore outward.
"If I control a Dinosaur with 2500 ATK or more, I can activate it—destroy every card on the field!"
The entire arena convulsed.
But Joey's voice cut through.
"You don't get to wipe everything just because you feel like it!"
He pointed straight at Rex.
"I activate Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon's effect! When you activate an effect—I can negate it!"
Rex froze. "What?!"
"And after I negate it," Joey continued, eyes burning, "I can deal you damage equal to the original ATK of one Attack Position monster you control!"
He jabbed a finger toward Rex's biggest threat.
"Rex—I'm using Ultimate Conductor Tyranno's original ATK!"
A blast of crimson pressure detonated across Rex's chest.

Weevil staggered too, the backlash from the collapsing field ripping into him.
Weevil Underwood LP 3000 → 2800
Both Weevil and Rex slammed into the translucent green barrier of The Seal of Orichalcos.
Yugi steadied his stance. Joey didn't even flinch.
"End turn!" Joey said, firm. (Hand: 1)
Anzu exhaled in relief. "You two were amazing!"
Rex Raptor's Turn
"My turn—draw!"
Rex's eyes were wild now, desperate.
But Yami Yugi moved first, voice like a verdict.
"At this moment, I activate Eternal Soul! I Special Summon Dark Magician from my Graveyard!"
A stone tablet rose behind him again—violet light pouring through ancient lines.
Dark Magician (2500/2100)
"And now," Yami Yugi said, "Dark Magical Circle triggers."
He pointed like a spear.
"Rex—I banish your Ultimate Conductor Tyranno."
The hulking dinosaur vanished into nothingness.
Rex's breath caught. "No…!"
Rex grit his teeth, refusing to collapse.
"Fine! Then I'll do it another way!"
He slapped down a Spell.
"I activate Soul Release! I banish up to five cards from either Graveyard!"
He ripped three Dinosaur cards from his Graveyard and cast them into the void.
"Next—I Normal Summon Infinity Dinosaur!"
A skeletal dinosaur rose, its body stitched together by the glow of the banished pile.
"Its ATK becomes 1000 times the number of my banished Dinosaurs! I've banished six—so its ATK is 6000!"

Rex threw his arm forward. "Battle! Infinity Dinosaur attacks Dark Magician the Dragon Knight! Today I'll defeat—"
Yami Yugi's eyes went cold.
"Heh."
He flipped a Trap with absolute timing.
"I activate Mirror Force. When you declare an attack—destroy all Attack Position monsters you control."
A single shockwave of light exploded outward.
BOOM!
Rex's entire field was erased.
Rex stared at the empty space where his "6000" monster had been. "M-My Dinosaurs… how…?"
Joey's Turn
"My turn—draw!"
Joey's grin was pure heat.
"Yugi used his Legendary Dragon… so it's my turn."
He raised a card, and the air itself felt like it remembered.
"I activate—The Claw of Hermos!"
A red dragon burst into the field, scarlet and sharp as a forged blade.
"Another Legendary Dragon…!" Rex's legs shook.
Joey's voice snapped like a whip.
"By Hermos, I send a monster to the Graveyard that matches the Fusion Monster's listed type—then Special Summon that Fusion from my Extra Deck."
He tossed a card forward without hesitation.
"I send Rocket Warrior!"
A surge—metal, engine, and dragon—collapsed into a single weaponized form.
"Special Summon—Rocket Hermos Cannon!"
Rocket Hermos Cannon (1500/1300)
"When it's Summoned, it can equip to a monster on the field!"
Joey pointed straight at his ace.
"I equip Rocket Hermos Cannon to Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon!"
The cannon locked onto the dragon like an armored spine, humming with reload-ready aggression.
"Now—its equipped monster can attack twice in the same Battle Phase," Joey said, eyes blazing, "and if it attacks a Defense Position monster, it deals piercing damage!"
Weevil's face twisted. "No—!"
"Battle!" Joey roared. "Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon, direct attack on Weevil!"
A crimson blast smashed Weevil into the green barrier.

Joey didn't pause.
"Second attack! Direct attack on Rex!"
Rex's scream tore out as the blast detonated against his chest.
